I don't understand, how do they play nobody collectively as a league in early interleague games, and if they do they lose, but still get this love affair from voters.
Very weak argument. All big schools in all conferences play crappy non-league games.
Big 12:
Texas played Florida Atlantic and UTEP.
Oklahoma played Chattanooga and Cincinnati.
Missouri played SE Missouri State, Nevada, and Buffalo.
Texas Tech played Eastern Washington, Nevada, and Massachusetts.
SEC:
Alabama played Tulane, Western Kentucky, and have Arkansas State this week.
Florida played Hawaii, and they play the Citadel later in November.
Georgia played Georgia Southern and Central Michigan.
LSU played North Texas and they play Troy in a few weeks.
etc, etc.
The voters always overrate some teams, and have done so forever. Years ago, Miami was always highly ranked even though they only played a couple good teams a year, and seemed to always have the week off before playing those good teams. ACC teams are also always overrated. There should never be an ACC team anywhere near the top 10. Football in that conference sucks. They should just stick to basketball.
