If you clear your internet cache, you can vote over and over for yourself. what happened to one vote system?

and if you look at the WR voting, theirs 306 votes. rofls? and one guy has 50% of the vote, one has 48%....and heres the kicker, another one has 49%. i thought it suppose to equal to 100%

once again dark sandman rigs the all star balloting.

oh yea your punter poll is BS. how u gonna give the edge to people who kicked 200 punts a season. Scotty Bowman is on a good team, so he kicks less, but his average kicks ass. but u just found the people who punted the most and put them up. FRAUD

If you bothered to read the poll before bitching about it you would have noticed that you vote for 2 WRs, so the total should be 200%.

honestly, i appreciate his making the pages, but it doesn't make sense that we'd vote on the stats up to and including week 15. i posted 4 TDs and a shitload of yards week 16, damnit! it legitimized my whole season.

I have no idea what DrkSandman's logic actually was, but from my perspective it makes perfect sense to only look at Weeks 1-15. In those games everyone plays the exact same competition (with the exception of not playing themselves ). In week 16 some teams are going to play cupcakes, while others will play dominate teams.

Yeah, I agree with cosine. Week 16 would heavily skew some stats. At least up until week 15 everyone has played the same competition (minus some teams gut or decide to add talent mid-season which changes things a little).

What you don't realize is that the polls you mentioned silently ended before whatever fraud you're talking about happened. I have the timestamps of the results in my team forum to prove it, but what good would that do? This is exactly why I didn't announce when each poll would end.

If you're actually sitting there voting a bunch of times to try and make "my" poll look fraudulent, that's pretty sad.

I'm doing this with my time selflessly for the league. I get nothing out of it. I even put you on the ballot, due to the demand of the league, against my own better judgment. So, whatever you say.

There were I think two polls that used Weeks 1-16 because I screwed up and didn't save the stats for those positions. And, as evidence by this very thread, I didn't feel it was worth my time to go and review all the games from Week 16 and remove stats.

BTW... the Punter position gave me an opportunity to recognize some players on bad teams who would otherwise not get recognized. Excuse me for trying to spread the joy a little.

The main reason is that you played a team, good or bad, that the rest of your conference did not have a chance to play. So, while your player may have had a solid outing against a bad defense, another guy who was on the brink of being an All-Star may have had to face a superior team. So, it really was only fair to keep it a level playing field.

For the record, not that I should have to explain, but since one person wants to accuse.

As each poll closed I looked into the logs of the polls and looked for anything suspicious. Any duplicate IP votes, one conference getting tons more than the other for one position, etc.

It probably won't shock anyone when they see who gets disqualified.
