I'll start by talking about the game. We lost because my offense only scored 6 points, plain and simple. Our defense came up with 3 scores to make it look good but we got beat down. I do think Bort really needs to fix the Power I plays though, those things raped our defense. Take those plays away and we win easy. Take away our defensive scores and GSA wins. Shit happens.
Too many people to thank but I want to make sure to thank everybody who has been an Ace over these 5 seasons. Especially Lefty for being on board with the idea from day 1 even though it sounded batshit crazy. Blev you know you made the defense come and play every day and for that I owe you a lot.
I was always the figurehead and most vocal of the Aces but everybody who was a part of it made it work. From Lefty, Murgy, KMeese, Afrogook (rofl, that's racist!), Tpat down to new comers JoScH and Grim. If I left somebody out, fuck me then. CaponesGun and wpsd (mispelt probably) handled a lot of extra stuff for me when I wasn't able to, so I owe them a thanks too.
It's been a special 5 seasons for sure for me, but with the games changes that I don't always agree on coupled with just plain GLB burnout it really feels like the perfect time to leave.
TSE, watching you get shelled in the first round made this season an enjoyable one for me.
If you want to try and recruit my players, don't none of them are signing anywhere. They're all going to the retirement tree with the possible exception of 6 of them that I may keep up with just for shits and giggles every now and then. my MLB, DE, HB, Guard, Grifter and free Safety. That's not even certain though.
