We are a very active team, active forum. All of our starters boost and most of our backup players boost. We pay just above min salary which is why we are so successful, but I pay for all equipment upgrades. About day 10, contracts will be upgraded significantly and everyone will be getting a pay raise (my CFO says 4000/day salary is very likely). We are investing 10 million into our stadium and will have the entire 2nd level complete in our third season. We will have 10+ million available for equipment upgrades. We have bonus money for team captains, bonus money for player milestones such as TDs, tackles, sacks, etc, bonus money for players of the game, so we have a lot of fun! I havent found another yet that has the money we have, the success we have, and the bonus money for captains and milestones for players each season.
Give out 1 yr deals to start, then if people want to stay longer, give out 2 yr deals. I do not mess with players on my team. If for some reason either I have to trade a player or they ask to be traded, I let them find the team that they want to play for. Nobody wakes up in the morning and finds that they have been traded.
On defense, we are in the process of switching from a 4-3 to a mostly 3-4 and we are in need of fast LBs and shutdown CBs. We play an aggressive style of defense with an extensive AI which sends our LBs blitzing all the time. Look at our leading sack guy, an OLB. Our offense is almost unstoppable. I am bringing in a lvl 34 CB, lvl 33 SS, lvl 33 LB, lvl 31 DE, lvl 31 CB, lvl 31 LB, lvl 30 OT, lvl 29 OT and a lvl 27 LB, all for sure.
Our first season was last year. We were 14-2, lost in the conference finals. We are 13-3 this year. That is a combined 27-5 in 2 seasons. We are in excellent financial shape. Our Finance guy Scandal Silverdust, is one of the best in the game. Just look at his players and how many teams he GMs. Most of our GMs, and myself, have been playing since season 1. We are adding another 10+ million to our stadium again this year. That will help us purchase equipment for our players.
Our team strengths/weaknesses.
Offense, we started out as a running team. Our top 2 backs last yr had over 27 TDs each. This year, same thing, same amount of TDs. But we have started to move towards our goal of a passing team. Our QB leads the league in yrds, QB rating, % completion, and top 3 in TDs. We want to move to a passing team, with passes to our RB out of the backfield. Our RBs have scored 67 TDs total last season. So as you can see, we score a lot of points.
Defense, we changed DCs halfway through the year. Our old DC didnt add much AI. Our new DC has added a ton. We are a mix of 3-4, 4-3 and slowly moving to a mostly 3-4. We like to blitz the LBs, SSs, FSs, and occasionally the CBs. We stop the run pretty damn well, holding most teams under 100 yrds rushing. The problem is our CBs are left playing one on one 100% of the time. When they are out leveled, they get beat. I think by adding high lvl DBs who can play one on one, we will dominate. We are bringing in a lvl 33 boosting CB, lvl 31 CB and lvl 33 boosting SS next season.
