Well, since it's so close, go ahead and get punting to the 3rd soft cap. Wait, is that with EQ? If so, you need to get punting higher. I suggest 3rd softcap.

After that, IMO, go Str, Conf, Vision. Train only speed/agi/jum and maybe a little stamina for those 12 punt games that happen every once in a while

Bort has literally been quoted to say that jumping helps punting. I don't feel like digging it up, it is in the "bort stalker" thread.

Personally, im taking jumping to close to 30 - most ppl say stop at 20ish for that stuff.

As far as your build, punting to 68, str to 48, conf to 48, vis to 48 before you start thinking about other things. If you're on a team and want good punts, "hang time" is a great SA (they'll get very little return yardage). If you're going for build optimality, keep waiting on SAs.

The real problem is no one can say for certain how much any attribute affects your punting (or any other football ability for that matter). I mean, you can say for certain punting affects it. But how much better is 90 punting than 80? It would make sense that it is 12.5% better, but truth is no one knows. Same goes for Jumping, Speed, Agility. They affect mechanics, but by how much? If 25 jumping is good, wouldn't 50 be 100% better? Why not soft-cap jumping?

These are questions that there is no way to answer without knowing the game's algorithms.
