Warrior General Games

I copied JBlaze's post from last season since it worked out so well. I say once your team is eliminated from the playoffs or at the end of the regular season; each owner or GM should submit their vote.

Last season we had teams nominate high ranking players from their own team. I think that's a great idea or if your players themselves want to jump on and try to campaign for themselves it could make things more interesting. Ideally I’m shooting for this already active league, to be even more active during a downtime for most teams.

Same format as last time. One set of votes per team. Only team owners or selected GM’s can submit their votes. Please post them here or PM me so I can tally up the votes. Last season we didn’t have everyone vote, but we had a good turnout.

Rapid City is promoting the following players as Pro Bowl candidates:

HB - Allen Schmidt - leading the West in rushing yards with over 2500 and rushing TDs with 45. Throw in 300 yards receiving and 3 TDs and you have easily the best all around RB in the West.

WR - BJ Endzone - over 1300 yards receiving ranks 5th in the West and his 17 TDs rank 2nd. Would have a lot more numbers if he didn't have to share the ball with the running game on Rapid City

OL - Henry Hammer, Patty O'Furniture - our bookend OTs. Hammer 2nd in the West in pancakes and leads the way for 2 1000 + yd RBs. Patty keeps our QB upright. Rapid City QBs have been sacked a West low (tied with DVD) 9 times.

DT - Jon Scott - had the tough job of replacing BBB 15 legend Kaythan Edonidd. I think he more then held his own. Is 2nd among DTs in sacks in the West with 22 and helps lead the way for the #2 D against the run in the West that has allowed only 2 rushing TDs all season.

DE - Stinky McStinkstink - 4th best sack total of 36. Plays in a rotation, numbers would be a lot bigger if not.

CB - Zippy O'Callahan - last year's INT leader is back at it again. This time with 14 (which is tied for #1 in BBB 15). Also leads the league with 6 return TDs. No brainer pick

Lots of my guys are worthy, but probably won't be considered the top of the league so I won't mention them. But up and down our roster, we got very good players.

KR/PR stats shouldn't help him get in as a CB. I think the way it's done in real-life is he could only qualify for one position, whether that be CB, KR or PR.

Not raining on the parade because that is decent production.

CB Flash Jordan: 2 interceptions for 30 yards, 75 sacks (1st in BBB#15), 43 hurries (2nd in West), 184 tackles (tied - 1st in BBB#15), 4 forced fumbles (tied for 2nd in West), 1 defensive touchdown.

Flash is the best player on the most overrated team in the BBB #15.

PR Flash Jordan: 35 punt returns for 621.5 yards (17.8 avg.), 3 touchdowns.

His best season as a punt returner, with one game to go.

SS Matt Lapolla: 128 tackles (6th in West). 3 forced fumbles (tied for 3rd in West). 1 defensive touchdown.

Overall tackle numbers are down from a year ago, which is deceptively impressive, considering Flash Jordan accounts for nearly thirty-five percent of the team's tackles. That wasn't the case last season, when Lapolla had free reign to pile up the tackles on a terrible team.

LOT Cosmo Monk: 105 pancake blocks.

Monk, in his first season with the SkyForce, will have only started two games by season's end. At level 27, he's six levels behind Pancake Williams, who has 20 more pancakes and a full eight levels behind Henry Hammer, who has not only started every game, but plays on a vastly superior team.

P Lil Legs: 100 punts, 39.5 avg.

Legs is in the thick of a tightly-contested group of candidates. Ranking fourth overall in attempts (100) and 10th overall in average (of players with a minimum of 39 punts), he's on the doorstep of a great season for the third consecutive season.

More players have helped us reach our banner season, but none that qualify for Pro Bowl status, based on statistics.

Those are INT's returned for TD's...not kick/punt returns for TD's.

dude, that's INT returns for TDs.

the problem with these things is that we can only go off numbers that get skewed by gutted teams. i wish there was a way to do this without the bullshit stats in there.

Regardless, the RM Thunder top performers this season are:

QB Tom Brady Jr. - 66% completions, 4812 yards (300 ypg)and 39TD to 10INT.

WR Daniel Cole - 94 catches, 1290 yards and 16 TD

CB Cornel West - 100 tackles, 2 INT, 34 PD

OLB Alta Dena - 86 tackles, 3 FF, 1 INT, 1 FR

MLB Steel Reserve - 90 tackles, 1FF, 1 INT, 1 TD return

SS Ross Long - 85 tackles, 3 FF, 1INT, 1 FR, 1 TD return, 21 PD

We played 2 cupcakes that everyone else didn't get to play. The numbers are crazy skewed. I really can't in good conscience put forward anyone from our team.

Some players had higher stats in our last game than other teams had all season.

Yeah that was a heck of a performance. Even Flash Jordan didn't do that well against a cupcake team in our final game. Really that was a great job. He came from nowhere to become the leader in forced fumbles now. Crazy, yes.
