I am starting to think the game just wants me to put the tokens into my guy instead of equipment. Best thing I have seen is 3% to catch for $5000. Which I bought. Woopie...

As far as equipment, you get one of three possibilities it seems

1 -Very common, all 1 stat bonus
2 -Semi common, 1 1 stat, 2 stat(value dependant on level) + SA pieces
3 -Rare, 3 stat(value dependant on level) + SA pieces

I reckon it takes about 6 or 7 shops on average to find a piece of perfect equipment, but you should get a viable stat + SA piece about once every two or three shops.

Worst I had was 13 shops to get a good piece.

I've gone through 20+ shopping visits on some of my players and never seen a piece of gear that's useful. I've seen some nice +3/SA pieces but they're always for skills/stats that my player can never use.

Your not gaining tokens getting 20+ shopping visits.
