Thank you and good night, PSU finally has that 9 game monkey off our backs....and no I don't care if you are having a down year or not.

Michigan had it in the beginning and fell apart...as typical Michigan this year.

I mean no offense to Illinois or PSU when I say Michigan beat Michigan again. PSU played very well but Michigan proved if it plays well on offense it can beat anyone (or hang with the B10 best at least so far).

PSU earned that win by being consistent and waiting for the fuckups and pouncing. Good team, no excuses from me.

Lol... it was exciting... Michigan won't be bad for long, so I'm glad we took care of business this year.

Can I ask you guys a football related question? Seein I live in Denmark, I was just curious. If I cant ask you the question, then dont read the following

Is it true, that if the stadium in a NFL game isnt sold out, the game wont air on the local TV?

That is correct. It's called a "blackout".

So what exactly are the blackout rules?
The short answer: If a game doesn't sell out within 72 hours of kickoff, there is no local television broadcast. "Local" in this case is defined as anywhere within 75 miles from the stadium. If a station from outside that 75-mile zone has any part of its coverage area crossing over, it gets blacked out too. This is why virtually all of Arizona, for instance, gets blacked out of Cardinals games. If a team comes close to selling out, the NFL can grant a 24-hour extension.

More often than not a business will scoop up the remaining tickets at a huge discount from the team so it can remain on television (roughly 20% of those tickets are actually used on gameday). More viewers = good thing so the team sells whatever is left as late as possible to businesses like GM or some insurance companies for staff.

Michigan could play well on offense and would still get crushed by UF. There is no way that weak, decimated defense could stop the juggernaut UF offense. Thank god Carr left, he had UF's number.

Now?.. of course not.. give it time..and it's mind boggling that so many Michigan fans are fed up with RRod already.. WTF did they expect? A complete overhaul of the football program and some of these idiots expect results asap.

ftr this isn't directed at anyone here, just sounding off a bit.

Rich Rodriguez is a good recruiter but a very average coach. He was very overrated because he beat up on a weak conference. Michigan won't become any better under him then they were under Carr lately.

Heh.

Every part of me disagrees but no one can really predict anything for the future of Michigan, I just feel better times coming but who knows.

I would say that RR has to be a better than average coach, I mean, look at WVU without him. And they still have Pat White and Noell Devine, they were supposed to be strong this season.

We have the same issue at Auburn and UT is doing the same. You don't flip a switch and go to the spread offense. There are going to be severe growing pains. We have been the better team of the 3 but it's all b/c of our defense. We have probably had the worst offense of the three. All three teams are angry at the HC right now, but it's because of unrealistic expectations on their part.

Penn State flipped a switch and went to the spread...
