Eastern Conference Predictions
Week 13 saw some great games and there looks to be even more great match-ups in week 14! We are coming down to the last couple of games and the hunt for the playoffs is getting heated. If you don't have your team together now, you never will. The GMs are busy tweaking their AIs and scouting their opponents. At this point, we have tons of information to use. Let's do this.
Texas Wrecking Crew (4-9) at Ten Yard Fight! (13-0)
The Fight continue to have a storied season. The only question now is, can they go undefeated? No problem this week, the next two have a shot as their week 16 west opponent looks pretty strong. Only time will tell!
*Prediction Excluded
Sheffield Sabres (2-11) at New Jersey Blaze (11-2)
Two teams on opposite ends of the spectrum. The Blaze are a top 3 team in the conference. Depending on the luck of the Sim, they can beat anyone they play. They are solid in every position and have a strong management. The Sabres are rebuilding. No match here.
Sabres 6 - Blaze 67
Ottawa Outbreak (11-2) at Atlanta SEC All Stars (8-5)
Just when Atlanta was looking for something good to build on, they have to play one of the strongest teams in the league. Outbreak has a great team and has only lost twice this year. SEC has something to prove though, and if they can put this one in the win column they will turn things in the eastern conference upside-down. I dont think they have what it takes.
Ottawa 35 - SEC 17
Philadelphia Pigeons (10-3) at Tampa Bay Krakens (11-2)
Can everyone say "Game of the Week"? Good, because this game has every making of being one of the best all season. The Krakens are looking very solid, beating Ottawa handily last week. I am not sure how many picked that outcome. The Krakens made a statement in that game. I am all ears. Krakens will look to establish themselves this week. Sorry Philly, I gotta take Tampa Bay on this one.
Pigeons 28 - Krakens 31
Buffalo Chips (9-4) at FC Hezbollah (3-10)
The Buffalo Chips are a very scrappy team. Every time I want to rule them out of the running they go and beat someone. I think they have proven themselves as worthy contenders. This match-up is one they should definitely win. Next week they play the Fight. Good luck Chips!
Chips 52 - Hezbollah 17
NJ Hitmen (5-8) at Bonita Beef Supreme (7-6)
On paper, this one has the makings of a good match-up. These two teams are on the bubble, with BBS looking a bit stronger than NJ. I think that this one will be decided late but that the Beef will reign Supreme. Heh, get it?
Hitmen 17 - Supreme 24
Three and Out (1-12) at Saint Paul Vulcans (6-7)
The Vulcans have had a bit of a falling out from last season. They were right in there, late in the playoffs. This season they will have to win out the rest of their games to have any shot at the post-season. Three and Out have no real shot here.
Out 6 - Vulcans 38
New Orleans Night Trippers (3-10) at Seward City Cats (0-13)
The Night Trippers roll into Seward City and look to put a smack down on the Cats. NO has been able to best the bottom of the conference this season. I think overall they are on their way up. This is a very hard conference to move up in, with so many good teams. I look for them to be on the bubble next season, if they are able to make some roster moves.
Trippers 49 - Cats 6
Best of luck to everyone in this week's games.
Thanks,
Chris
