Tooley was never told how long his ban would be. Compare the two posts. Not saying GM should suffer a longer ban, but if Tooley gets a perma-posting ban for that, compared to other things that have been said here..... well, just tally up another one for retarded moves made by GLB.

either way. Pretty cheesy. Vortus, I know you are a big supporter of increased policing of the forums, but I have to say, If you are that offended by things posted on a website by people that you don't know, maybe you should take a deep look at yourself.

That type of stuff should just slide right off of your back. You don't know anybody on this site, and nothing that anybody says should register within your being to the point that it upsets you emotionally.

And when I say "you", i'm not targeting you specifically, just saying people in general.

If you were my mother, and saw me posting crazy shit, I'd be a bit more alarmed. But these are faceless people that have absolutely ZERO impact on my daily life.

Vortus i forgot if you were a bitch about the power rankings whom i shut up, or a staunch follower of that what will inevitably be the end of my posting career on BBB and GLB in general

this now isnt directed at Vortus, but all of GLB who cares to listen

this 'game' was bourne upon by the MMO loving crowd who just happened to enjoy Madden, NCAA Football, or just a web based 'strategy' game (i fall into the latter category) the majority of whom arent the most polite individuals. take flames54 for example. he is my kindred spirit. the man knows how to fuck the numbers, knows how to talk shit to an extent, and how to brag like a motherfucker (blame him for a lot of the nerfs/upgrades to season 4 haha)

we are what brought this game to life and now we are being pushed out like outcasts because of our elitest attitude, we are the ones who spread the word, we are the ones who signed up created 10+ players and fed Bort $100s a month and now that he has his little empire game he pushed us aside, he changed the format of the game so the bulk of us lost interest and moved on or barely log on to spend our training points. this has become a game of the masses which is fine if it can withstand that, but it will not. have you noticed the amount of sold/gutted teams lately? i wonder why that is.

this game is catering to the more casual 'fantasy football' crowd which is a good idea in theory since that concept is so successful, but this is an entirely different beast unfortunatly. this will die out and become boring long before season 8 IMO for the fact that they are trying to conform and bring about a 'PG-13' game in an environment that thrives on 'R' at the very least

end of the day - those of you who wish to punish tooley, GM, myself (i feel it coming) i really hope that you feel good about yourselves, because you just helped to destroy something that you wished would have turned into a decent escape from the mundane work week

reading through some other threads now and ive becomed sickened at what this has become

go fucking load up animal crossing if you have a problem talking or dealing with adult situations....i hear they are making a new Pikimen game which will be out soon so kiddies can have a real shot at keeping your gaming career clean

edit: the day i am refrained access from a game that i feed $100+ a month will be the day that i retire every player i own and/or give the account away. i don't really think Bort realizes how good he has it compared to other MMOs/online games

That I can recall, I never been shut up, nor have I griped about power rankings. The harder road is the one less travelled. So which is it I wonder? Is it harder to be an honest civil man or a foul mouthed child? Something struck me as humorous. Someone said they would be alarmed if their mother caught them doing it, but they could care less about nameless faceless strangers. My question is why? Why would you act any different? If you don't know then this has become pointless.

Now I am/was paraphrasing, to hard to look on cell when quoting, and copy paste is not possible that I am aware of.

Heres is what I suggest. Since this forum is obviosly an "R" rated forum, how about we post it as such as the first post to every forum we create from here on out. I used to have respect for Vortus, but if hes the reason we have mods watching us like a bunch of kids at recess, all I have to say is thx for ruining it for everybody else. I remember a political post you wrote about the majority not expressing their opinion and therefore isn't heard so we think we are the majority. Well guess what, if you don't have a voice for 6 months, don't go crying when nothing turns out the way YOU wanted it and everybody else is ruining it for you cuz they've made it become what they wanted because they DID voice their opinions. And last I checked, most of us are paying customers, too.

I would suggest all that want an R rated forum petition the admin/mods to set one aside for them. There are enough that enjoy that sort of thing that it would be quite popular. An honest, civil and well thought out petition from all of the forums would be hard to argue with if enough signed it. Though, I would suggest a sort of card check or something via PayPal as an attempt to place an age limit on it.

As far as watching people like kids at recess, if they behaved they would not need to be watched. Let's get one thing straight if this this is the direction you are headed. I have not sent in requests, nor complaints for either general or specific persons or forums to be to watched, cleaned up etc. I have voiced my counterpoint to those that wish the forums were havens of anarchy. With the folks in FFA pitching a fit, far worse than here, the mods are watching all forums. If I lose my voice via getting banned then there is a high probability that I deserved it. Ill take my punishment and move on. I treat life that way, so I see no need to change myself for a forum. As to my ruining it for others, you thank me sarcastically. However, perhaps those that got the bans should thank themselves, after all, I did not put the words on the screen for them. People chose to blame others when it lies squarely on their own shoulders. Its fine if they chose to blame me, along with no longer respecting me. If they are that sort of person, then their respect is not something I am concerned about. I will not change my stance on keeping the public forums clean.


If I wanted people gone, I do not have to do a single thing. They will hang themselves given enough rope. I would prefer they stay as I have mentioned before they are good players and solid competition. Even the ones I disagree with. Hehe Ironic that I gained more respect for you for your post as its civil and concise.

In closing, if you lose your voice, you have none to blame but yourself. I wish you well either way, whether its as my opponent on the forum and the field, or while you are pondering life's questions in the netherworld of being banned.

You know what guys. Screw it. Lets give him his way, and get a petition going to add a "R" rated forum for the leagues. If we do get one, he's not gonna have many friends to play with on this forum anymore.

Only post I've ever seen in 5 season was GM's post here 2 days ago on the political forum. I'd like to also thank him for screwing it up for everybody else.
