I'm basing this tourney off of other peoples rankings for playoffs in both leagues:

Eastern Conference:
#1)Bayou
#5)Orlando
behind the scenes:
Bayou beat Huntsville earlier in the season 30-10, not to mention their passing game should destroy Huntsville if they can run it right.
Orlando and Rochester are facing this week and we at Orlando have a higher overall easily and we are running a strategy that is similar to our recent ones just with slight changes, we should be able to pull this off this week and in the playoffs.
Western Conference:
#5)Looters
#3)Bridge City
behind the scenes:
Looters beat Texas earlier and it looks like they can do it again, pretty simple.
I'm going for past winers it looks like, they beat Philly earlier who at the beginning looked like a real contender, they started to go down hill at about week 8 or so and Bridge City could win it all.

East:
Bayou won narrowly at the beginning 28-33, but that was early on so anything could happen (Week 4 to be exact), with that new strategy of ours it should give us a better chance, though it might not work against this defense, I have Bayou winning 38-31.
West:
Bridge City won in week 3 38-31 (my projected score for East champs). Also looking that the Trolls won their last 3 games by 100+ and all were shutouts, not to mention a great record this season should be a tough challenge for an up-and-coming LA Looters team, if they can scare BC with their powerful rush defense they could take their pass defense 100% and kill them with intimidation. But I do not think BC will take the threat and will play it out with a strong rush, I have BC winning 24-14

basing playoff results on regular season results doesn't work. I think 12th can attest to that.

USA BBB #8 Championships:
Bayou Bandits v. Bridge City Trolls
behind the scenes:
Watch out for that nice solid level 33 qb of theirs in Lionel Strangelove, he is doing fairly well among league QB's with 3406.5 pass yards (7th in league), 29 pass TD's (10th in league). Now Bridge City is also a threat with their great HB of Todd Man, tied for 1st in the league with 38 TD's, lets not forget that he is having his best year yet on the receiving end with 150.5 YAC, 9.1 YpR, 18 rec. going for 164 total receiving yards. Rushing T. Man is not having quite the season he was last year even though he has had less touches, I think they should trust him through the air more often and not to mention go through the air more often, this guy could have a break-out playoff session if they play him right.
Big Threats:
Bayou:
1. Lionel Strangelove
2. Unscrupulous Poppinfresh
3. Harry Wildman
4. Darren Johnson
Bridge City:
1. Todd Man (due to Steven Smith)
2. Howard Long
3. Offensive Line (Steve Wisniewski, L Kennedy, and Matthew R Meyer)
4. Len Dawson (losing to lionel in passing yards by approximately 150)

Len should be a big surprise in this game for being a level 29.
This game is one to watch due to the fact that it will come down to BC's lineman v. Bayou's pass defense and QB

I like your analysis cardskid22, however.. I do not think you are giving enough credit to our running game. That it the focal point of our offense. We have consistently ran the ball the past 3 seasons. This season, Mr. Train has 2k+ rushing yards. My HB is not but 250+ yards away. We have almost put up a combined 8000 yards total this season on offense. Sorry to boast, just had to lay some facts out

The Bandits have never won a playoff game.
The East has never won the league championship game.
I hope you are right, the Bandits love to get both of those firsts this season. That's a tall order to fill though. If we aren't knocked out by one of the highly dangerous teams in our conference (the kind that are hard to beat twice in a season), we are likely to face one Hell of an opponent no matter who wins the West.
As long as I'm here, I agree with vandiar2. Mr. Train is a HUGE threat and possibly the most aptly-named player in the game. He's like our Marion Barber from 2007, a 2nd string RB with the strength of an ox, he doesn't care about dodging tacklers and he has a nose for the end zone. Only instead of playing behind a mediocre Julius Jones, he's splitting time with a HB that nicely compliments his style and has the speed/agility to score from anywhere on the field as both a back and a receiver. Those 2 have made my job as offensive coordinator a heck of a lot easier.

Well great, now we've been jinxed, lol. I honestly don't think BC will win it all. We're a great team and all, but there are still a good number of other great teams here. Frankly, luck does play a factor in all these games.
