The Hobbs Gerbil Wranglers are dead (again).

The amazingly unoriginal "Austin Horns," aka "The New BBB4 Cupcakes" are born. I have a couple points to make about this.

1) Why would you do this mid-season as opposed to during your chem grace period? You brought in a bunch of players, were mediocre, then gutted? Your fan support and chemistry is now screwed, so I hope you don't plan on doing anything useful until the middle of next season unless you can assemble a French Lick type roster (which I doubt you can).

2) I feel bad for LaCrosse and Washington. Losses to them before they gutted puts LaCross in position to have to play one of the best teams in the West in the opening round, and probably keeps Washington out all together.

The worst part is, that teams that do this created a "need" to do a one time league reorg, which mark my words, will not be a one time thing. Gutting/rebuilding/team selling/collusion won't go away. So we'll all be ni our fancy new leagues next year with competitive teams, only to be right back in a league exacly like this one within a couple seasons.

On the flip side, I'm trying to figure out who has the most to gain from this.

French Lick and the Wackers would have beat them regardless.

SMASH MOUTH might win a game (or at least not allow 200+)!

Rhode Island will certainly beat them now.

I think the winner though is the Appalachian Mountaineers. They now get served a cupcake instead of a possible loss. Sitting in the 7th seed, they cannot afford anymore losses. They need to find a way to beat Mid-Michigan, but even if they lose that game, Seattle still has to play the Caps (Go Seattle!), Freemont (Go Seattle!), and Cincinatti.

I think this disbanding puts Appalachian in position to hang on to the playoffs and not let Cincinnati take their 7th seed. Though, I do think the schedule favors Cinci. They have a good shot to sneak in and grab the 8th seed and send Seattle home empty handed, but it might come down to their Week 14 matchup.

At least TJ gets to face a decent LT.

Well, I was one of the GMs for Hobbs. I don't know what the fuck Brock did or didn't do, but I sure thought it was nice of him to let everyone know his douche fouled up and he needed a minute.

POS.

What? No 'Go Seattle' vs. Cincy?

I'm pretty sure we've got the Caps game locked down though...

...okay I couldn't type that with a straight face. We'll give it a shot, though.

As for Hobbes, we're pretty damn frustrated. If only there were some device to punish those who did things like this mid-season, upsetting the balance of our league...

Something like the device that appears about 1:27 in this clip:

lol bighoppa, no offense, dude. I just need Freemont to lose another game, and of course don't like the Caps.

I am a fellow GM with E_The_Kid on another team, but my guess is he does about as much work for you guys as he does on the Phoenix (none). So, I'll root for you guys. And I do live in Seattle, so, yeah.

We should have an All Washington State Friendly sometime.

Don't feel bad for us, we would have to play a good team anyway. We have lost all our big games (except French Lick). We should have to play one of the better teams first thats what we deserve.

Well you won't get us, I think we're headed directly for the 5 seed.

Just as long as we make it, maybe we sneak a victory out who knows. I just wish our qb would stop throwing picks for tds. He has been doing that the last 3 or 4 games.

Brock is a piece of shit. He brought on a bunch of guys at the beginning of the season and had oukurt recruiting hard to try to improve. Now he just decides that he wants to have a sucky ass team and sells off all the Wrangler players to the highest bidder.

Wow, that is real lame. It looks as if oukurt has some of the players on his team, though. Are you sure they weren't in it together?

Wow. I guess I'm the only one who thought the reorg was a good thing. I did this because I wanted to get my players involved. I didn't buy a team to have my guys ride the bench because it was too high level of a league.

I tried to be as fair as I could once I made the decision - send the players to teams who could contend - and let them make their decision of where they wanted to go anyways.

Besides - the agents on that team sucked ass. It was me, oukurt and dash24 who posted on the forums. THATS IT. On top of that, the team was full of sooners, and I'm a longhorn.

If you don't like your new team, sign with a different one! If you don't like that your team lost to Hobbs before I re-structured, maybe you should have recruited harder or worked harder on strats!

Hey, it doesn't matter to me. We were going to crush you regardless. Now we can just take the day off and watch the stats pile up.

Being upset that the players on your team are from a rival college is stupid. You signed them, didn't you? If I booted every player on my team that was slightly different, I'd have an empty team.

It's your team, and you can do whatever you want. Enjoy mediocrity.

I can respect that. I took over this team 2 yrs ago and it was half-active, half-inactive, and the owner hadn't told any of them he was selling. Some of them didn't want things to change but honestly that's not their call. I just bought that team and had a plan for it. I had to trade them off, I tried to do right by them and give them their choice of teams - in fact I put together a long bidding process that gave them lots of input on trading partners - but in the end, it was my team and I had a different plan for it.

On behalf of Fremont, we apologize for forcing another team to fold after playing us. I believe this happened last season as well. We will try to limit the intensity in which we beat you all from now on so there is at least a glimmer of hope.
