the negative numbers by the teams are how many ranking points they are from the position above them..
the numbers in parentheses are what they were ranked last week..
there was an error with the big whiskey assassins but i corrected it.. thats why the rankings in parentheses look a little off around when they get listed..
IF THEY WERE ANY HIGHER, THEY'D BE POTHEADS
1. Austin Breakers (1)
-yes.. still on top.. they keep pooring it on with their constant barraging of opponents on the Offense AND Defense.. and to think i grew up in austin.. boy i hated it there.. their schedule pretty much gets easier from now on.. that is until they get pitted up against the bombers and vikings.. but after the 10pt loss to the tarheels.. who knows.. maybe someone tripped and fell on a play on defense..
ahh.. ahh.. ahh.. ahh CH- http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=150981&pbp_id=1192250 - OOO!! lol.. ahh memories..
2. Louisville Baby Kittens (2) - 2.5
- The baby kittens still rank #2.. with just as tough of a schedule as austin, they simply couldnt match the amount of points and points allowed as the breakers.. what may help their cause later on in the season is they're yet to go up against redbank river city and houston.. should the breakers get slowed down by mudville and anchorage.. and keep from their usual ways of massacreing lower teams like the assassins and bobcats.. only then will they establish their legacy on top.. otherwise it maybe all about da groundhogg!
3. Texas Tarheels (3) - 1.8
- Still untouched in the loss column.. and right on the heels of louisville.. this squad has already taken care of the toughest team they're scheduled for this season.. they have a couple of threats ahead in mudville and syracuse.. but they've had turds more terrorizing than these teams already.. they're favorites to go undefeated this year.. if not for ruthlessly demolishing opponents like the breakers did..they'd be ranked higher at this point in the year..
4. Red Bank Thundercats (4) - 3.08
- like the tarheels they're undefeated.. unlike the tarheels they've got a make or break game coming up against the kittens.. 2 top 5 teams will be going at it.. i say this will change positions in rankings that week.. of course depending on how badly one team beats another.. after making the freedom warriors pick up the soap in game 2.. they've been picking on smaller kids.. i believe they're still at this spot because of their previous game against jax beach.. very unlike them to allow 38 pts when they were averaging 10. 4 pts allowed.. the 2nd best behind breakers.. dont let their position fool you.. they do this against tougher teams.. except jax beach ofcourse..
5. Appalachian Lycans (5) - 3.77
- rounding up the top 5 is appalachian again at the 5th spot.. what do they do? they kill teams.. simple as that.. it's like they have a secret potion.. they've had one of the tougher schedules in the league but have achieved less pts vs pts allowed than the higher teams.. thats what's got 'em at this spot right now.. 82.2 pts per game scored and 12.2 allowed.. they're the 3rd best defense behind redbank..
THE KIDS THAT USUALLY SCORED B's IN SCHOOL
6. Lincoln Freedom Warriors (8) - 3.4
- Yes.. they've moved up two spots in the rankings.. afte bein' pwned by the kittens.. they've exploded enough bottled up stress on the face of the devil bats to propel them up..
7. The River City Ransom (7) - 2.7
- same spot in ranking because their battle against cleveland wasn't a blowout unlike the freedom warriors
8. Syracuse Samurai (6) -.08
- schedule just got tough and is only gonna get tougher.. after surrending the most pts all season, they dropped 2 spots..
9. Anchorage Vikings (9) -1.27
- games did well vs. the anarchs but not well enough to overtake any of the juggernaut offensive teams despite having 4th best defense at 11.5 pts allowed per game..
10. Mudville Bombers (10) -1.32
- they shut out the assasins.. but only scored 16 pts? not cool since they've got vikings breakers tarheels and freedom warriors coming up.. where's a yellow brick road when u need one?
