I'm sending messages to all of Sam's (LonghornKid) owners about his current situation. He was hit by a drunk driver on friday night and is currently in the hospital fighting for his life. Hes in a very bad condition as of yesterday night, and wont be able to sign in/change tactics for a while. I have his password and i'll do my best to fill in for him until he (hopefully) gets back. Thank you.

I'm not an overly religious person but I truly am praying for this guy. We signed him this off season because he had a great build that I felt would match up well with some of the elite DE's in SEA Pro and he has done a great job for us! Talked to him a bunch in PM's over the course of the season and he is a good guy!

We're pulling for him to make a full recovery!!!

Please do what you guys can to make that a reality.


Its also a sobering reminder of the dangers of drunk driving, so make sure when you folks go out drinking, you drink responsibly or get a designated driver so this sort of thing doesn't happen to someone else!!!!!

Best of luck to Longhornkid. Things like that really puts things into perspective about how much we take life for granted. I sincerely hope he pulls through and has a speedy recovery.

He's awake and talking. Multiple injuries (broken bones, concussion etc.) but apparently has pulled through the worst of it.
