I know alot of people aren't big fans of openly sharing their builds but I'm trying to figure out how vision has either helped or hurt your build. Only looking for DT's with 40 or more vision to shoot ideas back and forth with and share builds.
I'm a big fan of it, only have mine at 35, but once I upped it and jumping, I got 2 PD's, more than doubled my sacks and upped my hurries big time.

I hate vision for Dlineman, its never done anything for any of mine.

Same here.

Jumping over 30? Really? Seems counter-intuitive, but wouldn't be the first time something like that was true in this game.
Has anyone done a build like that to test it?

I would say that is a good goal for vision. It will only help you if you are not tied up with a OL to zero in on a RB (My DT has done that a few times). It supposedly helps you break tackles, but I think it is agility along with vision that does that.

30 is too much, but 20 will really help. Wite gets a bunch of dive tackles.

Since the Skill Trees do not seem to offer much [at least that's the gist I get from these boards], does it make sense to raise Vision to the soft-cap?
STRENGTH - past second soft-cap
AGILITY - past first soft-cap
SPEED - past first soft-cap
TACKLING - - past first soft-cap
VISION - 40+
Is this a DT that can get into the backfield to cause some havoc?

That is pretty much what my DT looks like. Not many sacks or hurries, but does pretty well in the running game.
Kind of hard to judge since his sacks and hurries have been against scrubs. He usually gives up 3-6 levels and doesn't wreak much havoc in those games.

In this game, its awful tough to record a sack as a DT. Or maybe, I haven't found the right guy and right defensive scheme. Anyway, I'd be just as interested in TFL's and Hurries.
Primate, Boozer1011 ... you guys get those stats? And killing a running game is absolute money, too.

Your probably outleveled with your DT at 15 in a second year Africa A league. DT's are very capable of sacks even against equal leveled linemen. Good builds are the key.

65 strength and 60 agility seems awfully low for a level 27.

not enough in strength, speed, and agility, too much in jumping, stamina, vision and tackling.
