This is an underneath zone, right? I don't have a zone in any of my AI settings, nor do I have auto adjust on, and my basic tactics are set to 0% zone.

Any ideas? Is this even a zone? If not, who are the LBs manning up on?

I don't think it is zone. It looks like play focus is set to pass or balanced. What formation(s) did you call?

Looks like Cover 1, man coverage, with distance at either medium or long. The CB's are in man coverage, the SS moves to double WR2 like he would in man.

The coverage distance is likely what's causing your LB's to take a quick step back before playing towards the ball.
