Caprica Buccaneers at Death Valley Shadowblades - What more could I say about the Buccaneers? Well I guess I can say at least I don't have to play them again this season. They just simply destroy teams and move on to the next. They're like the aliens from Independence Day. Now they make a trip into Death Valley and face one of the up and coming teams in the West. I'm sorry Shadowblades, but the vacation is over. Take a few pain pills and pour yourself a stiff drink because the next week is your hell week! The good news is you get to kick it off with the best in the West.

Buccaneers 48 - Shadowblades 25

Rapid City Rushmores at Pittsburgh Highlanders - The Rushmores are on cruise control for the rest of their season as they await their destiny in the playoffs. Their schedule is a breeze as Chicago and USMC have been falling apart lately. I'm not sure if they Rushmores will even log in for this match up.

Rushmores 63 - Highlanders 10

Anchorage Wolves at Uncle Sam's Misguided Children - The Misguided Children have been...well misguided lately. As they come close to closing out the heart of their schedule they match up with the Wolves and the Rushmores. Not very fun for USMC, but if they want to remain at the top; they have to take down some of the best.

Wolves ? - Misguided Children ?

DVDTalk Otters at Sierra Vista Buffalos - The Otters have one date circled on their calender...10/19/2008. The date they plan on doing what no one else could; take down Caprica. Until then each game is just sand passing through a hour glass for them. As they matched up with San Diego and left them in the dust; they seem unstoppable now. As far as the Buffalos have come; they won't be able to handle the Otters fury. I warn all in Sierra Vista as the WR with 60 in Punting comes to town!

Otters 157 - Buffalos 0

Sioux Falls Storm at San Diego Silver Shock - As the Storm comes closer to the easy part of their schedule they become closer to losing their nickname of the silent killers. Everyone knows who they are and are making sure their game plans are in order to weather the Storm. Although there are not too many storms in San Diego.

Storm 41 - Silver Shock 35

Rocky Mountain Thunder at Chicago Maroons - The Thunder are the perfect example of a bubble team. One game they play amazing; the next they struggle. They have pounded through the rough part of their schedule and were able to stay alive. There is hope for playoff glory for the Thunder, but they must remain focused. They now match up with the perplexing Maroons who went through a personnel switch in the middle of the season. This my friends is my GAME OF THE WEEK!!!!! Both teams playoffs hopes begin with this game and each win is crucial. Let the bubble madness begin!

Thunder 25 - Maroons 26

Ivalice Tacticianers at Midwest Mayhem - The Mayhem have had a tough season, but unfortunately for them they are soon going to start their run through the elite in the West. With the troubles they've faced so far, the Tacticianers won't be an easy game either. The Tacticianers have had two accredited wins this season; not much to write home about. However, the Mayhem need to remain focused and not worry about the pending doom that awaits them.

Tacticianers 44 - Mayhem 45

San Jose SkyForce at Southside Spartans - As the SkyForce struggle to finish off their season they have a bright spot on the horizon...they get to play the Spartans. The SkyForce have had some problems this season, but are still hungry for success.

SkyForce 45 - Spartans 14

All due respect to Sierra Vista, but there's no way I'm giving up 0 to them.

Knowing you, if you designed the game defensive TDs would subtract from PA instead of adding to PF. Instead of winning a game 35-0, we'd win 28 to -7.

I don't see a problem with this.

25? Wow. That might almost count as a moral victory if we got that high!

I wonder how much longer Sioux Falls will remain the Silent Killers of the West? Usually storms aren't silent.

Funniest comment I've heard in quite some time. Nicely put.

*Tipping my hat.*
