Hey, I just made a LB recently and I was training on normal looking for some decent AE. After my third refresh, I found this piece:

Make tackle chance +2%

$1000

I'm not sure if I should buy it or not. Any ideas?

And I'm only level 5. It was 2900. What you found was very common. I'd look some more

Yeah, my LB is lvl 1. I guess I have to wait until I'm lvl 5 to get a % chance and +1 in any attribute.

Is this AE worth the $3200?

Alright, I guess I'll save up for this piece of equipment. Going to take me a few days though...

The question you should be asking is not whether the money is worth it or which piece is better, why wouldn't you train on intense. Above and beyond adding one extra point to equipment, a whole season of intense training nets you an extra 4 skill points. How many attributes do you plan on having over the cap where it costs you 3 points to put a single point into it. You are simply better off training intense and taking the skill points over the advanced nonsense.

This. Advanced equipment isn't worth it until you're a higher level. My new +5% to Force Fumble equipment that I found at level 30, however, was completely worth it

Looks like I might retire and make the player again so I can regain those 7 training points.

I have a ROLB on a team that uses me to blitz ALOT. I have a +1 tunnel vision SA doo rag sitting on the shelf waiting on me to buy it. Tunnel Vision seems to be working Great for DEs. Do you guys think it will help my ROLB?

yes it would, when blitzing it would.

I don't think Rod has any +Tunnel Vision EQ. But it is widely acknowledged to be a pretty effective SA. I'd purchase eq with it.

I think TV is one of the best SA's in the game. I cannot even imagine how heinous the LB blitzing would be with a normally hi speed/agility LB with TV. whoa.

Even if it bonuses only occasionally it still has to be worth a shot. I'd take that SA on pretty much every Defensive player.

Thanks for the input.. The only thing I dont like about it is the fact that it is only an SA. There is no +1 speed or anything just a straight SA. Still worth it or should I try for another one?
