Inaugural GLB World Cup Kicks Off October 6th

Driven by the desire for further competition and additional opportunity to increase their fame and recognition, Pro League team owners suggested the formation of a World Championship game, where the 8 champions from Pro Leagues each season would meet on the gridiron to determine which team is the best of the best.

Bangkok wasn't the champion of SE Asia Pro last year tho... so why are they representing SEA PRO in this tournament?

Not that they don't have a proven track record of winning... but the tournaments mantra is a bit misleading.

The owner of Neo said he was not able to commit to playing in the tournament, so the runner up from the title game, Bangkok, took their place.

We wanted it closer to playoffs or during playoffs, but hokiemon couldn't do it those times. Some of the owners of our players aren't going to be available so we aren't able to scout until game 15 of season 5. To go into the tourney like that wouldn't be representing SEA pro properly so we bowed out.
