The Elite
1. Washington Capitals (7-0) - The greatest team on earth is on a seven game winning streak after beating their rivals the Bowling Green Broncos. The game was closer than it appears, but thats only cause Nylander had a hard time gripping the ball cause Big C applied to much lube to Broncos players asses and some of that lube dripped onto the ball. Anyways, Capitals on top for another week.
2. Boston DrunkN'Disorderly (7-0) - Boston trounces Seattle Rainmakers, who i guess are decent this year. They have another semi-tough matchup next week plus a throw away game, than they'll head to the Bird Nest to face the Washington Capitals, which both teams are excepted to have 9-0 records and fight for Eastern Conference supremacy. But according to TJking, the game of the week will be his.
The Middle of the Pack
3. Mid Michigan Storm (5-2) - Their only two loses came against Boston and Capitals and they have beaten one decent team. It really starts getting medicore after the number three spot. We handled Mid Michigan Storm pretty well when we played them, they are a decent team and we took them seriously in pregame talks in our forums. But no one is shaking in their boots right now. Maybe playoff times.
4. Rutgers Silent Willies (6-1) - You have to give this guy credit, whoever runs it. I think he turned a bad team around, this is the first year i heard of this team. Anyways, the silent Willies havent really beaten anyone worthy yet, but this week they have a chance to be one of the elites in the East when they face Boston. This game will set the tone for the whole season. I believe if they lose this one, their whole season will unravel and their headed for an early playoff exit.
5. Chicago Sirius (5-2) - I picked this team to face the Capitals in the playoffs. They got off to a slow 1-2 start and I got kind of worried on my prediction but I still think they can pull out some tough victories in the playoffs. The next two games will be a test on how good they will be. I think they go 1-1.
6. Bowling Green Broncos (4-3) - They did go toe to toe with the best team in the league, but it is a rivarly game. Those will always be close anyways. I dont think they will ever be championship worthy until Capitals and Boston leave the league. I really think the person or persons who sets up the tactics on that team doesnt grasp that whole system. It takes a smart person to understand tactics and strat, thats why the Capitals are lucky to have Admerylous, an educated doctor with brians.
7. Seattle Rainmakers (5-2) - Another surprising team with a surprising start, Seattle Rainmakers might make it to the playoffs this year. They lost to Boston by 26 points, shows that they aint in the elite group yet, but it will take a few seasons before people will notice. They have had a few other close games the past few weeks, but right now their a growing team with growing pains.
8. Tampa Bandits (4-3) - Tampa Bandits remind me on why they should go to a 6 team playoff format. Team like this doesnt deserve to make the playoffs, but oh well. They are an eight seed. If playoffs started today, will probably start are punter at QB and have fun with the Bandits. shits and giggles rules.
Potential Playoff Sleepers
9. Appalachian Mountaineers (3-4) - I think they will actually make the playoffs. they have had a hard scheulde so far. Look for them to go on a four game winning streak after they lose to us in week 9.
10. Cincinnati Norris Ninjas (3-4) - They have made the playoffs every year since the Capitals made the league, but the inability to put an offense together will always hurt the ninjas. I think they might sneak into the top 8 when its all done, but the withdrawl of Nox's players(Nox has many characters with the Capitals), they're a below average team with a good defense.
Teams that are Purge Worthy
11. Minneapolis Masterminds (3-4)
12. King Donaldt (2-5)
13. San Francisco Fire Cats (2-5)
14. Michigan Blues (0-7)
15. Maribel Shock Therapy (0-7)
16. Houston Raiders (0-7)
