I currently only have two plays where I have a 3-4 called, the rest are all running a 4-3. Do I need to put players in the RILB and LILB slots on the DC, or will it just automatically choose two random LB's when those plays are called?

It'll choose whoever it thinks best to play those positions. If you're not too worried about getting a specific LB in the positions, you're probably fine just ignoring the LILB/RILB depth chart, since you don't have it called very often.

If you want to use the depth chart for it anyway, LILB is your traditional MLB type run stopper. (Because he's on the strong side)
