1) Fremont Warriors (last week #2)

Last week it was a toss-up between Tulsa and Fremont for the #1 spot. I made Fremont earn it, and earn it they did with a solid victory over French Lick. Fremont is through the meat of their schedule and can kick up their feet and relax for the next few games.

2) Tulsa Teamsters (last week #1)

Tulsa didn't lose the #1 spot, but it's hard to put much credence in a win over the Lone Star Leopards. They'll have a chance to earn the spot back in 2 weeks when they face the Island Shaka Brah's.

3) Island Shaka Brah's (last week #3)

Island Shaka Brah's are in the middle of an incredible stretch. They lost to Fremont 2 weeks ago; this week they face French Lick in the **Game of the Week** and next week they face the Tulsa Teamsters in what will almost certainly be another nationally televised game. Unfortunately, even if they win both games they're probably stuck at #2 until Fremont loses.

4) Walla Walla Wackers (last week #4)

Predictable win over the Tulsa Doom. Walla Walla is running through a mundane stretch until they play Fremont in 3 weeks.

5) LaCrosse River Rats (last week #5)

LaCrosse with a surprising loss to the Hobbs Gerbil Wranglers! Fortunately the two teams below them also lost. Still, teams 1-3 seem to be in a league of their own, and Walla Walla has put a decent gap on teams 5-16 as well. It does not look like the lower playoff seeds will fare well at this stage of the game.

6) French Lick Liquors (last week #6)

French Lick played a wild **Game of the Week** in which they returned 4 KOs for TDs! Unfortunately, their QB threw his worst game of the year, 3 pick-sixes and 5 INTs overall. When you're a passing team and your QB throws 5 picks, you're gonna lose. Rufus Wainwright and French Lick get a chance to redeem themselves against Island Shaka Brah's in their second consecutive **Game of the Week**

7) South Georgia Growl(last week #7)

South Georgia had a golden opportunity to move up these rankings, as LaCrosse and French Lick both put on disappointing performances last week. Sadly, the Growl were too busy being thrashed by ISB to take advantage. Things do not get any easier this week, as they face off against the Tulsa Teamsters.

8) Hobbs Gerbil Wranglers (last week #10)

The Hobbs Gerbil Wranglers move up 2 spots on the strength of their impressive victory over LaCrosse. Hobbs showed off their aggressive defense, taking two INTs back for 6. Their next 4 games are all winnable and if they capitalize, they will be in great position to make the playoffs.

9) Washington Blitz (last week #8)

Washington shut out Rhode Island last week; things get significantly more difficult this week, as they face off against Walla Walla. A win here would be certain to vault them up several spots.

10) Las Vegas Villians (last week #9)

The Villians beat the Shockers, albeit not by as much as I think they should have. Next week they play the Gerbil Wranglers, and just like Washington, a win here would propel them upward.

11) Tulsa Doom (last week #12)

I am not becoming more enamored with Tulsa...just less impressed by the bottom half of this division. The Doom need a win over the Chicago Shockers if they hope to be any kind of a dark horse to make the playoffs.

12) Lone Star Leopards (last week #11)

Lone Star surrendered to Tulsa rather quickly and painlessly, but I suppose this was to be expected. They play LaCrosse, who looks rather vulnerable after a loss to Hobbs. Could Lone Star make this win #2? Doubtful, but I'll be watching.

13) Starkville Cows(last week #15)

Starkville's transition to human players is already paying dividends. SOMEBODY had to win between Starkville and Smash Mouth. Still, the fact is that these two teams had been battling for worst team of all time... and after their renovation, Starkville HANDLED the Silverbacks 30-3. I expect to see continued improvement against Rhode Island, who is still searching for their first win.

14) Chicago Shockers (last week #13)

The Shockers face #11 Tulsa in one of their few winnable matchups of the season. I had originally intended on picking Chicago to pull the upset. However, after watching their abysmal 52-7 loss to Las Vegas, even I can't make that pick. Tulsa wins, Chicago goes on searching for their first win.

15) Rhode Island Revolutionaries (last week #14)

Rhode Island has been eagerly anticipating their matchup with Starkville. Much to their dismay, Starkville decided to add some human players and improve just before their matchup. This game will be closer than expected, but in the end I expect Rhode Island's (presumably) superior builds to pull out the win.

16) Smash Mouth Silverbacks (last week #16)

Blah. I'm not trying since you're not.

-----------------------------------------

Predictions:

Fremont Warriors > Smash Mouth Silverbacks
Tulsa Teamsters > South Georgia Growl
Island Shaka Brah's ? French Lick Liquors **Game of the Week**
Walla Walla Wackers > Washington Blitz
LaCrosse RiverRats > Lone Star Leopards
Hobbs Gerbil Wranglers > Las Vegas Villians
Tulsa Doom > Chicago Shockers
Rhode Island Revolutionaries > Starkville Cows **Pillowfight of the Week** *UPSET*

Kinda glad to be back on top, but I do not like how history repeats itself with us being #1 seeds on ANY list

Oh and I have to give the nod to ISB in the game of the week, they are still such a force to reckon with.

We had our worst passing game of the season last week also.
Not so much the picks (there were two, though) but rather an inordinate number of drops: 11. That's about twice the normal number of drops. A lot of them were strange wide open drops.

Maybe Bort's telling us that it's time for our new three headed monster to show off a bit more.

That doesn't make sense for our worst passing game to have occurred at the time of our highest chemistry this season.

And - BTW my builds are very one sided right now. That might cause me to drop another one tomorrow 54-2

Ya our qb is better than 4 picks, so I am blaming the game. F-ing game
The sad thing was we still were winning and they had a very nice game winning drive at the end.
