I said I might do this a while ago, so today I actually decided to make one of my WRs a Spin WR. I've always thought that having high Spin might prevent a WR getting tackled immediately after the catch, and when one of my WRs made this catch and run I was quite sure of it:

Whilst my WR has been playing extremely well in a capped league, I've never been too happy with his build as I basically boosted him 6 levels when I first created him (3 in the off season & 3 in preseason), so he's missed out on a lot of training. I plan on retiring him at the end of the season, but until then he's a Spin WR experiment.

He recently got a +1 Spin SA from advanced equipment, so I decided to boost him today and put all the SP towards Spin. I'll post about how he's doing once he's played a game with high spin.

Anyway, here's the WR in question:

Will be an interesting experiment, and look forward to seeing the results. Your using a fairly balanced base build to start from, wonder how it will work out.

Your build looks pretty good to me. I'm not even really sure what a Spin looks like, but I plan on building a Spin HB with 80+ agi.

Hmm... I've actually been wondering about Spin myself...
While watching that play, though, I think Juke might be more valuable? The CB kept coming... I think 3 Spin/6Juke might be more effective.

Fun experiment, keep us posted.

Vlad, I think given the vagueness of what constitutes an acceptable level of agility to pull of spin and juke, he'd rather spend his points in spin. If spin works then he may consider seeing if his current level of agility can also trigger juke which requires more agility.

I didn't want to go for Juke as it says it's especially effectve against defenders with low agility and vision, and unless they're badly built I don't know of many CBs that don't have decent agility and vision. Also, getting Juke to 8 would have taken ages and I'd just bought a +1 Spin SA piece of equipment anyway.

I love how many experimental builds you're doing. It's got to be helpful to the GLB general community as a whole, as you're figuring out what works and what doesn't. I'm an experimenter, too, it just so happens that I'm running a tad low on Flex.

Good luck.

Like Kayoh said, you just never stop with the experiments do you?
If only I had flex points like you...

Get this his agility to at least a natural 60, and then maybe even put equip on there? If you're going to try this thing, make sure you've got plenty of agility

I'm eager to see how it works, I've always been interested in spin.

Update: My spin WR is still one of top 3 WRs in the league, but I haven't seen him use spin once. This could be because his agility is only 51, but his Spin is at 9 now.

ewww..... 9 SPIN and you havent noticed it, *second guesses myself* maybe head fake IS better...?

Well he has 5 in Head Fake, but I haven't seen him use that either.

He did score this TD today and break a tackle, but I have no idea at what point in the replay he breaks the tackle and how?!:

He broke the tackle when he caught the ball. and how? Prolly STR.

But usually when you break a tackle the CB freezes for a second, but on that play the CB never stops.

I'd say that's a juke move (spin/juke/head fake - I can't tell) but at least he's not using STR in my opinion.
