Hopefully im not the only one that is asking this question. The only thing i can think of is in the tight spiral description it says there is a bonus to pass quality. Im guessing this just makes catching it easir and intercepting it tougher right?

That would be the logical impact of pass quality, yes.

I'd like to know how much a piece of equipment with just +5% pass quality on it would cost compared to a piece with just +1 Tight Spiral. That might give us some insight into how much of a bonus Tight Spiral provides. Right now my QB could buy a shirt with +5% pass quality for $30,000 in the store.

Has anyone even seen one with +1 Tight Spiral on it? It seems a little redundant to me to have equipment with +% pass quality and some with +1 or +2 Tight Spiral if both are just ways to increase pass quality.

The only thing is that if it is 5% PQ, it doesnt show up on your attibutes page. Dont ask me why but it is important to me to have great attributes.

I'm not wasting Bonus Points on risking to find Advanced Equipment because half the time they are useless for the specific position...

what hooked me is that you can have a +1 to any SA when you upgrade adv. equipment after 8 bonus points. thats a big deal if you have a SA already at 11.

True, but it takes 2 1/2 days of training to get a bonus token and 4 of them will net you a skill point. That's 1 skill point every 10 days.

By comparison 8 tokens spent on bonus equipment will net you a +1 equipment bonus and an SA or % bonus in 20 days. So the +2 agility +5% fake chance cleats my WR found if upgraded with 8 bonus tokens and $500 cash becomes +3 agility +7% fake chance. If agility is already at the soft cap that would cost 6 skill points before you even count the fake bonus, 9 if it is at the 2nd cap. Counting the shopping token that is 21 days. I found those cleats the 3rd time my WR went shopping using the initial 7 training points we all received so you could count the first 2 shopping tokens as 2 more days of training for a grand total of 23 days worth of skill points. Then in another 20 days of intense training I can upgrade it again.

Just to get the 6 skill points from bonus tokens you would have to cash in 24, which would take 60 days of intense training, and you still wouldn't get the SA or % bonus. If that extra bonus is in an SA that would cost say 4 or more skill points to raise then you can see it would take you that much longer to raise by cashing bonus tokens in for a temp bonus (that doesn't work in play offs) and 1 skill point. Now imagine instead of being at the 1st cap, the stat in question is already at the 2nd cap and would cost 9 points (90 days) to raise 3 points. That is a LONG time.

I don't recommend shopping too much, intense training is definitely a lot better than normal, but doing it occasionally can have a bigger impact in the long run. I think it might be best to shop occasionally if you have 5 or more bonus tokens saved up, especially if the end of the season is nearing since you can't transfer a lot of bonus tokens to the next season anyway.
