I have the patience to build properly (and slowly if needed), but I couldn't find a perfect intense training combination.

Could I get your advice? Is it better to focus on normal training one skill (i.e. kicker) if choosing to slow build?

Thank you all in advance.

Yes, I would think for KICKING and CONFIDENCE at least. You want to get these up to their appropriate cap as quickly as possible and by spending as few skill points as possible.

PackMan97 -

Thanks for your reply. My main concern is not where to train, but how.

Intense Training doesn't have any great combinations with Kicking. I wish there was a Kicking & Confidence combo.

With that said, should I simply normal train Kicking?

Kicking should be your first soft-cap. I would recommend training intense Str+Kick to start, until you get kicking soft-capped. Then if you feel as strongly as PackMan does about confidence, soft-cap it immediately after soft-capping kicking. While waiting on the points to Soft-cap conf, train Vision/Conf together.

Intense is always the way to go if you have the $, especially early in your career

the cost of normal and intense is about the same - disregard it. always train intense. make a smart build path so you wont run out of intense combinations, because some attributes are hard to pair up for a lot of positions.

After running the numbers with a $300 salary you can train intense all but the very last time if you bought EQ and leveled at a maximum clip; so you would not lose any TPs. I didn't run any numbers for any other salary level. If it goes too low you may have to consider training normal, especially if you spent money for lvl 1 EQ. But ONLY if you are at risk of losing TPs.

What about stamina? How should I train that up? Mine is garbage. What should I pair it with?

At level 3, 8 stamina should be plenty. My level 31 kicker only has 16 stamina and does fine, even with him on the KRS.

I'm doing Kicking + Strength until I train my kicking up to 30, then I will switch to Vision + Confidence (currently level 3, but I screwed up and spent my original SP). After that I will fill in as necessary.
