Well since no one will do it for Zeta, I'll do a power ranking. I'm lazy so I only really did 8 teams. I'm not that great of a writer so if you can do better, please do.
1- Rotterdam Roughnecks 5-1 - Defending champs looking good in beating the always strong Pimps, bouncing back nicely from a loss at the hand of a resurgent Troll team. Beating the Pimps at their own game by out gaining the pimps on ground 245 to 96.
Next week vs Valencia Billy Goats - Should roll the rebuilding goats fairly easily here.
2 - Frankfurt Heat(5-1) - Has bounced back nicely since a lopsided defeat at the hand the Roughneck in game 1, winning 5 straight to put itself at the top of the standing once again. Managed to overcome a strong effort by the Scorgasm defense by scoring 3 TDs on defense.
Next week at Porto Reconquistas, Heat will try continue its streak against newcomer Porto, but they will need more from their offense this game.
3 - Korb Destroyers - With a quick 5-0 start, this team looked like it has rebounded from its epic collapse last season. Porto and Korb seemed to have the same gameplan and both team tried to shorten the game by grinding it out on the ground with Porto managing to hold on for the victory.
Next week vs Blind Rage, Korb should roll here before it faces the Stampede the following game.
4 - Stockholm Meatball 5-1 - Stockholm is last of the 5-1 team simply by virtue of having the weakest schedule of the four teams. They rolled over Rage with their powerful running attack but they will be tested against the Stampede this week.
Next week at Rohrheim Stampede- Meatballs bring WEPL
s no.1 rushing attack in a showdown with a Rohrheim team coming off a heartbreaking game against the Aggies.
5 - Rohrheim Stampede 4-2 - The Season 2 pro champs looks to rebound. Losing a close one with your team at the opponent 2 yard line as time expires doesn't help.
Next week at Stockholm Meatball- Rohrheim is in the middle of a tough stretch with Korb, Frankfurt, Paris and MA Trolls coming up after Stockholm.
6- Rivals Mainboard Pimps(4-2) - After a quick 3-0 start, the Pimps has hit a couple of speedbumps losing to the Roughnecks and Stampede with a win over Copenhagen in between. Pimps will look to get back on track against the Longnecks this week. Theres some DE I'm suppose to mention but I forgot his name.
Next week vs PPP Longnecks - Two teams that like to run the ball and two teams that are top 10 in fewest rushing yards allowed, something's gotta give here.
7 - PPP Longnecks 4-2 - These newcomers have acquited themselves quite well since being promoted to WEPL. Pounding Copenhagen into submission on the ground will be a nice breather for them. They're going to need it as they head into the meat of their schedule.
Next week at Rivals Mainboard Pimps - Longnecks begin a stretch with 8 games against potential contenders, welcome to WEPL.
8 - Reykjavík Aggies 4-2 - Coming off an exciting win over the Stampede for the Dreamer's Cup, The Aggies have a tune up game against Copenhagen before the real test against the Pimps the game following.
Next week at Copenhagen Cowboys - After a hard fought down to the wire victory against the Stampede, Copenhagen finds themselves with a real good chance here to keep it under 100. Maybe.
Bubble Teams
Multiple Scorgasms 3-3 - brutal opening schedule, gets a bit easier. Running game has been anemic the past couple weeks.
Porto Reconquistas 3-3 - comes off a much needed victory against Korb to put themselves back at .500. Looks to win their first consecutive games in the Pros against Heat.
MA Trolls 3-2 - started 0-3 and have rebounded with 3 straight victory. Should make it 4-0 against Oslo before a game against Multiple that maybe have playoff implications down the road.
Paris Musketeers 2-4 - in danger of missing the playoffs after breakthru last season, have yet to beat a contending team, will need to change that in a hurry.
