You must be playing the Nose. The builds pretty good. put more in d-line general.

yeah that does kind of show how useless breakthrough is...
if you want to register a sack or two a year you might work on speed...may turn some of your hurries into sacks.

Since you play DT speed/agility is the way to go. At this point your player would probably be better suited for NT.

I was trying to max out Break thru to see if I could ever get any kind of production out of it. I'm not really looking for sacks, just kind of going for a "space-eater" kind of build.

The break thru thing was an experiment and I can almost totally say it has been a bust.

Breakthrough is almost exclusively a NT SA. The DT is rarely double teamed. I think that SA is so that you can break a double team and get the tackle when RB is close to you.

Up until the last quarter of last season I was exclusively NT.

Finish hard capping agility and speed doesn't have to be to high but 40-45 is solid. NT SAs suck as you've gathered. Even at NT I would sell some equipment from strength to put into agility to get near 70 and you'll start shedding some of those double teams to be a more effective force in the middle.

The only point of strength is not to get pancaked so the OL can't go on to the second level. Beyond staying on your feet the rest should go into agility which also helps from being pancaked by the way.

your build is better off at NT.
