Is it worth soft capping?

Not sure. Can anyone say from first hand experience whether increased jumping effects the carrying bar or the catching bar on a WR? I would imagine it would effect the catching bar, but I have no proof of this. If it does effect the catching bar, I'd raise it to an equal level to your catching attribute until it gets to the softcap if you are going for a possession receiver.

I have jumping soft-capped and I think it effects the receiving bar, but I'm not 100% sure.

Have you seen any results stat wise?

It most definitely affects the receiving bar.

I guess you're talking to me.

Same kind of production as last season, around 8 catches, 90+ yards per game and TD here and there,
about 1 drop per game (jumping was around 35 most of the season and vision 40).

Nice stats. My WR is built nearly identical to yours and is barely making any catches this year.

My WR plays in SEA AA so it's quite different from Pro league.

I alwats imagine balls like these are caught by jumping but who knows:

See how it goes flying over my head then back? Then again they're dots, who knows.

I guess asking for the developers to actually include an info line on a WR play such as "jumping catch", or "diving catch" would be too much to ask. Defenders get the "diving tackle" indicator on a big play they make...it would be so much better for our WR's if we could get SOME type of indication as to the type of catch we made. Trying to diving what happened by staring at clusters of 2 dimensional circles is a tad difficult!

Oh..about jumping, at last boost, I increased jumping to over 30 and overall and catching bars moved up considerably.

Unfortunately, we cannot figure out if players actually jump for the ball in the game.

I have 40 jump. Cant say I have seen my player doing better or worse. I would have rather used the points on quick cut or first step honestly.

Jumping is a skill that should be capped.
