Is it just me or is anyone else just as confused by this paragraph?:

I believe, I too am retarded...that the Playoff teams would be the ones moving up to fill the void created by gutted teams above them.

Ahhhhhh! I get it now. His wording threw me off. So basically you'll have your normal 2 super bowl contenders that get promoted. Then, if there are any other teams in the league above that are gutted or just plain suck, they will be moved down to league below while the playoff contenders move up based on records/points and what not.

It confused me because he said "moving down". Which I thought he meant the playoff teams would be moving down somewhere. But he just meant moving down from the top of the list of playoff teams that are elligible to replace gutted teams.

Yeah I count about 5 teams in the A#8 West alone that should be moved down. 1 CPU team, 3 rebuilding teams and one team that just plain sucks.

Man, if the top 5 teams in the BBB#15 West get bumped up next season, that would make for one beast of a Conference. It'd be sweet.

If that is true, A8 is not a friendly place to play! The good news is we all would get to hate on the Death Vally Vikings once again!!!!!!

My question for this whole thing. What if a gutted team is in pro, but is juat as bad as a gutted A/BBB team, if not worse.

Shouldn't they then move all the way to the bottom (BBB)?

same with AAA, and AA.

What do you mean??? Rapid City has NEVER played for the conference championship....

Our curse is a little worse than NBSK's.... (Lost to the Vikings the last two seasons in the Conference Semis.... )

But the Vikings are gone now ... surely you can find another antagonist?

So I thought I'd take a look at the leagues above us and see who would be moved down. Now I don't know how far all these teams will be moved, but they are the gutted of the elite.

It really comes down to how they grade the teams that get dropped. If a team is gutted of all players, it should, in theory, drop to BBB, no matter where it came from. That would pretty much bump ALL of us up a level, and turn BBB into the rebuilding zone.

Otherwise you'll have a gutted team trying to rebuild in an even tougher upper level division.

Hmmm, looks like that would probably bump us up to AA, since I don't think we'll miss the playoffs this season, despite a rocky start. But then the evil schedule bug hit us again too.
