So my DT is level 13. I've softcapped strength and agility, and am now working on what to do next. My training has been pretty erratic the past few days (some tackling, agility, vision, and speed(got it up to 12)), and I was wondering where I should focus now. How much tackling do I really need, since I know the LB forum says that tackling is pretty much useless above 30ish, which is where mine is now. In case you're curious, STR is 53, tackling is 31, agility is 48, stamina is 29, vision is 20.

speed strength vision?
i think tackling is pretty overrated. Or maybe strength to second cap.
My 25 DE has only 30 tackling, though playing in a 3-4 doesn't really allow for a lot of stats.

I'd work on your speed and vision. Tackling at high levels primarily increases your scouting bar, without bringing returns much beyond that unless you're missing tackles

With 31 tackling, you will be set for a while. Autolevelling will take care of what you need. Did I see that your speed is 12? Definitely work on that. You need more strength as well.

Does higher tackling increase your effective tackle radius in the same way that catching increases your catch radius?

I think we'll start to need higher tackling numbers over time as RB's move to get the +break tackle % advanced gear.

Jumping supposedly helps the tackling radius, it's considered a diving tackle methinks.

Speed it is, with vision after. The tackling is with some equipment(the second point on each of my things), so I might put a few points in it at some point and move those over to strength, but clearly not a priority. Thanks again.

I've been putting points in speed and intensed speed/tackle a few times. I haven't seen results because my DT is on a gutted team that gets shut out game in game out and only has one other DT, so we both play all game, drain our stamina to 10, and tend to combine for 2 tackles. Thank god the contract ends next week, so I'll sign with a team where I can actually play level-appropriate people and have decent morale/energy.
