Just keep pumping speed and agility. You really don't need that much jumping if you want to be a deep threat, and you're fast enough to get open.

This is what I think you should do.
Step 1
Softcap Speed
Step 2
Softcap Agility
Step 3
Softcap Catching
Step 4
Put points in Possession Receiver Route Run and the first two speedster tree.
Step 5
Softcap Vision
Training
First train stamina into the 20ties at least.
Then train vision while you are softcapping agility and catching.
Once you begin your process on vision stop training it, start training strength.

If you're looking for an interesting experience, don't just make another cookie-cutter WR.
Softcap Strength first. That would be different, and I can't imagine it being ineffective knowing that 100% of CBs don't touch STR until they've got Speed, Agility, and Vision softcapped. Personally, I haven't put a single point into STR at level 21, and don't ever intend to. That's an advantage to WRs with high STR, because they just plow through the low STR CBs that are covering them.

Don't softcap strength. It won't help your YAC at all. My level 13 WR with softcapped strength averages 9 catches a game and .9 YAC.

Maybe you should switch to power running

Maybe it doesn't matter if there are 4 players going for the tackle in 2 tic's time.

Strength most certainly DOES help running after the catch. You need other stats to compliment it though. Higher catching means you slow down less when catching the ball, and the speed at which you run into the defender along with strength decides whether you break a tackle.
An object in motion stays in motion. If your WR is standing still or just starting do you think his strength is going to kick into gear and help him break a tackle? Of course not. I could tackle Jerome Bettis if he didn't move.
Couple strength with agility, speed, and catching and you WILL see results. I think my WR's success speaks for itself. Not that I'm an expert but the last three seasons I've put up nice stats in tough leagues.
Also my WR runs on power and has broken a few big ones due to breaking tackles.

You really think you could tackle Jerome Bettis? LoL
Although now with all the nifty new advanced equipment{{ Dwarven Cleats of +3 Strength/
+1 Power Thru SA. }} Strength WideReceiver build may become viable...

If he wasn't moving yes lol I'd just torpedo myself at him. I'm 6'0 210 so maybe I could knock him over. Or take him out at the knees lol.
I dunno but last season I got 5.4 YPC and so far this year I'm at 6.1 so whatever I'm doing seems to work. Just trying to help where I can. Not that I have the best WR ever or something, there are guys in this forum better than me obviously. Just throwing my two cents in.

I hear ya man I was just bein playful...
You been considering shopping for some nice break-tackle equip. with your str. WR tho?
I was thinking about maybe a piece with Stiff Arm on it would be nice for my WR...
Can't wait to see what the set-items and uber-rares look like when Bort puts em in!
