Just wondering. I'd like to know where everyone stands. And I know I'd screw it up, so it's not gonna be me. lol.

This has been the most chaotic season in BBB #8 by far, tons of teams being sold making it hard to separate the good teams from the mediocre with all the trash out there now letting everyone they play get 10TDs or more. Once again I won't comment on the West because with only 1 inter-conference game per season there is practically no reason for me to worry about them.

That being said Huntsville is always a top contender along with Maryland, though this season Maryland's roster is a little shallow. The Bone Crushers were always pretty good so unless the new owner changes tons of stuff or they lose a lot of players I have to assume the Soul will be pretty good as well. Cleveland was the most improved team last season in my opinion and they will be a top 5 team in the East this season. The BeachDogZ, Dragons and Yancy Street round out the list of teams that have shown enough improvement last season and so far this season to warrant being considered a threat to most teams, but none of them have beat a solid team this season to prove themselves true contenders. Reno I don't know much about, but they are likely to be the most improved team this season looking at their performance so far. So based off of all that here is my completely arbitrary ranking of the top 8 teams in the East*

1. Huntsville
2. Cleveland
3. Maryland
4. Reno
5. Orlando
6. Florida
7. Rochester
8. Yancy Street

* You may have noticed the top 8 doesn't contain one of the remaining undefeated teams. It is against my principles to speak very highly of our team, The Bayou Bandits, in public. So just put us in there where you think we belong, though in our first 3 seasons we have finished #5, #4, and #3 in that order.

watch out for Hartford, we had some financial problems, but we're back. problem was ppl weren't getting paid and the kicker, punter, and FB/OC left. We've made some signings though, and are 45 OVR when we have a punter signed, which will be soon. Don't count us out just yet!

It's just something I always liked about my old coach. If you listened to him speak or read any interviews with him in the paper you would think every week we were the underdogs and just lucky to have a team to field. Conversely whatever team we played that week was incredibly talented and dangerous, possibly the biggest challenge on our schedule. Of course if we beat them then all of a sudden come practice on Monday the exact same team was terrible, nothing like the dangerous team we were playing next Friday.

Of course just ask vandiar2 or jameschisley and they can tell you I'm also the most pessimistic GM on the team. I almost never think we're going to win any big games.

My Game 3 rankings were:

1. Huntsville
2. Cleveland
3. Maryland
4. Reno
5. Orlando
6. Florida
7. Rochester
8. Yancy Street

Updated for Game 4 results, again not including my team because it's my list and I make the rules:

1. Huntsville
2. Cleveland
3. Reno
4. Orlando
5. Maryland
6. Florida
7. Yancy Street
8. Rochester

Rochester drops down a notch after losing by 19. I discounted Reno's win over Cleveland a little too much last time, I chalked it up to luck since Cleveland put up so many yards on them but looking at their win over Orlando again I am a little more impressed. We narrowly beat the Soul in a tough game today and the Soul did beat Huntsville, so I am starting to think Reno could go somewhere around 13-3 this season. Again all my ranking are just based on how I feel that day and right now I am feeling better about Reno's chances later on against Bayou and Huntsville. I do think though that a Reno and Cleveland rematch could go to Cleveland if they don't go -3 in the turnover battle again, but I'm an offensive coordinator so I skew everything in favor of teams that move the ball the best.

I am offense coordinator as well hehe. Hence the dawg pound. We got our running game back. Ironicaly we tried a different type of running game against you guys to see how it would fair against the elite teams needless to say it didn't go so well. So we went back to what we normaly do. All the other teams should be careful with our two headed monster. Justin frenzy and mustard seed are a dynamic duo. Believe it or not we have actualy run the ball way fewer times than the vast majority of the conference haha. Yea reno has a good team. I think they will meet us again in playoffs ironicaly.

I think offenses all around the league are doing better than ever this season. After playing Maryland, Cleveland and Orlando, 3 teams I consider to be very good, the Bandits have still only punted once this season. It was right before half time against Paper Street in game 1, though today Orlando did make us go for it on 4th and 1 and again on 4th and inches trying to run the clock out late in the 4th.

Obviously the presence of a ton of gutted teams is going to skew offensive numbers with all those 100 and 200 point games, but Orlando and Cleveland both haven't faced any of the gutted teams and they have only punted 8 and 10 times respectively in 4 games or about once per half. They are both 2-2 so you know they have been playing in some tough games, not just a bunch of easy wins.

Yea. I have almost all my created players on the dawg pound some are on other teams. The thing is I have yet to boost any of them. I make a different build for each player. I think when I do considering quite a bit of our defensive makeup are my guys we should be a much better team. To be honest I think if our team really plays our cards right and catches some breaks here and there we should go very very deep in the playoffs and might even win it all. However that is one big might. We have a really good group of guys most of us have been here for the long haul since season 2. I just took over team ownership however the original owner is still part of the team and he is an overall great guy. We should be fine even if we don't win it all this year we should win it within the next season or so. I think as far as the eastern conference goes the only teams the dawg pound should really fear are the bandits, the soul, and believe it or not reno. I know florida and maryland are good teams but something about them doesn't scare me all that much.

Huntsville isn't on your list? I have 'em at #1 on mine. Of course you guys have a long time to before you meet.

Maryland is just held back by lack of depth, their starters are very solid. I really thought our game this season was going to be very close, something like our games against Cleveland and Orlando. I mean they did knock us out of the playoffs last season after all. I guess they must have taken a gamble with their AI and come out on the short end to account for the score difference. I know I spent more time preparing a new AI that was much more in-depth than anything I have ever used in the past specifically for that game. I was that afraid we would lose and I desperately wanted revenge for the playoff loss.
