So I thought I had a pretty good first game for a lvl 1 WR with the stats I got below but then the second week I look and I have 6 drops and 5 rec I was targeted a total of 15 times.

What do you guys think I could increase to decrease all of my drops? I am lvl 2 now and I have 5 SP to use. Thanks for the help.

He's only level 2 so he's gonna be dropping balls all season. Don't put any points in the SAs for a while and put the SP in catching if you want to be a possession WR or speed if you want to be a speed WR.

Don't touch the SA's for a while, but when you do get *Sticky Hands* up to about 4 or 5. I had a WR with 55-60 Catching still get drops; to fix the problem I pumped a few SP into that SA and all of a sudden.. no more drops.

EDIT: Also, don't neglect Vision. You need to know to look for the pass and see it into your hands.

Jumping can also help with dropped balls but its too early to start training that

Its funny that you're still in here pretending to be knowledgeable.

You had a Level 10+ WR.

He sucked, so you had to retire him.

Now you just have a bunch of level 1's.

So why would anyone want to listen to you?

Ask your mother.

PS: You should have another conniption about how the game's being mean to you.

Did you consider that perhaps he retired his players so that build some great players from scratch with everything he's learnt.

I'll back him though. Speed is the answer.

Get open to catch stuff

1.5(1) speed : 1 agility with high First step and QC for getting open on mid routes.

Get a high jump to pull down passes in the slot.

to fix drops, speed is absolutely, 1000000% not going to help. a 'drop' has very little to do with how open you are, and everything to do with where the throw is in relation to your player. its been said hundreds of times, jumping and vision reduce drops. anything else doesn't except on a coincidental level.

Why would I want to be in the d-leagues when I'm slow building? You're a presumptuous dumbass.

The best way to reduce drops is to reduce throws to you since there is an inherent chance to drop within the mechanics of the game. If they are talking about 50% of long balls being catchable then that means you'll have some drops. If expanding your catching radius means more balls will be catchable, that means more drops even though you will catch more balls that previously would have been drops.

The surefire way to reduce drops is to not plug, catching or vision, carrying or the possession trees to keep your catch radius and thus your drop radius small. Then you want to make sure that the ball isn't thrown you way or you may have a chance to drop it, especially with the low catching stats. The best way to achieve this is to stay away from agility and speed, because if your open they'll throw to you. Right, with me so far? Your best bet at this point is to take strength and blocking up to as many softcaps as possible so you are at least helping your team out as a blocker. Take confidence to the highest softcap as well so you don't get discouraged about not being thrown to, but on the minute chance your defender falls down and you are thrown to, you'll be fairly sure you can catch it, physical abilities and skills be damned! Avoid stamina at all costs, you don't want to be the WR with the most energy or they might throw to you when the other WRs are tired. Let me know how this build works, I'm very curious to see and don't want to spend my flex points on it as I prefer the built in drop rate with nice stats to no drops.

oh yea i forgot you dont have any friends to slowbuild on a team, like 100% of the non douchebag GLB population does.
