Anyone have estimates as to what level your Agility/Speed need to be for the Head Fake/Spin/Juke SA's?
I'm assuming Juke won't work well until about 60 agility...?
Is that the same for Head Fake & Spin tho?
Which SA is more worth the pts spending in your opinion, Head fake or Spin ? ( I don't wanna waste pts in spin if its not working right...)

head fake and spin both help you YAC

head fake helps you create separation. Spin does not.

easy call IMO. Also some HB stuff said that 50/60/70 agi were helpful to see returns on headfake/spin/juke respectively, but dunno where that number was arrived at. I'll be well over 60 by the time i mess around with it though so that's fine in my book.

That number was made up out of thin air...

Well.. I know that I had over 60 Agility and 7 Head Fake on one of my RBs - and I'm still waiting to see a Head Fake..

Honestly, Head Fake really doesn't exist anymore. I guess you can crank it up to 10 and have it be effective, but that really wouldn't be worth it.

Its really fucked you, Tea Baggins made a living off of HeadFake in Season 2/3, so many many players started to do the same thing, then all of a sudden it doesn't work anymore.

Just like Strength
Just like Speed
Just like Pump Fake
Just like everything else that has the slightest bit of success - they take it away.

And the worst part about it, is that they can't even admit when they fucked with something. Everything is a secret around here, pretty convenient for them, I suppose..

I'm really starting to despise this fucking game. They are making a moving target, which is obviously impossible to hit. They get us to change our players around, year after year, while they just rake in our hard earned money..

Shit is getting ridiculous.

^ you seriously need to take your happy pills.

The reason these skills don't work as well is that everyone loaded up on agility and vision to stop these types of backs...what happens? Power backs emerge as a dominant force and will do so until more players load up on tackling and strength.

It's a big game of rock/paper/scissors and you are upset that you keep trying to throw a paper while everyone else knows you only throw paper and they just bring out the scissors. Maybe if you'd try tossing in a rock or scissor on occasion, you'd see more success.

The good teams/agents/players adapt and move. There have only been one really big nerf since I've started in season 2 and that was the nerf to kickers. Everything else has just been minor changes. Yes, even the changes to acceleration were minor. Just suck it up and move on.

It's an on-line game, everything changes.

HEY!

You don't have a fucking running back.

How would you know whether or not Head Fake is still effective? Unless your WR has a ton of it, which is doubtful, you really wouldn't understand.

Go watch replays of Tea Baggins in Season 2/3. Now watch RBs that have Head Fake now. Its NOT the same. Not even close.

Quit pretending that you have a clue, its obvious that you don't.

Strength RBs have gotten nerfed.
Speed got nerfed.
Super Vision - nerfed.
Head Fake - nerfed.
Pump Fake - nerfed.

Just because you don't want to believe that this precious game is screwing all of us around, doesn't mean I'm not going to open my eyes.

Go around the forums. Its everywhere. EVERYONE knows it. This entire game has become a moving target, a moving target that we're paying money for. Maybe you can afford to thrown your money away on a constantly changing target, but I don't, I have rent to pay.

Do me a favor, don't reply to any more of my posts, and I'll return you the favor.

I guess the answer to the happy pills is a no?

You really have trouble with reading comprehension. Backs like Baggins get ahead of the game, the defense pumps up agility and vision in response. The result is that backs like Baggins are no longer as effective because folks built their defense to stop them. There is no grand conspiracy.

* Str HBs are surging right now as they run over defenses built to stop Tea Baggins.

* Speed didn't get nerfed, high speed is as important as ever. Agility got boosted. Get some.

* Super Vision has never been nerfed, I suggest you find someone with high base vision and a lot of super vision and watch them read the play from the snap.

* Head Fake is not nerfed, it's just that defenses were built to stop elusive backs. LBers with 50 agi/50 vis do a good job at stopping elusive backs. If a team got their OL a bit faster and blockers could get more of a push and get downfield, maybe you'd see them do a bit better, but a 30 speed OL ain't gonna be a good blocker for a 70 speed/70 agility back. Oh no! You mean an entire team needs to be on the same page to work well! *SHOCK*. Most OL's are built for blocking for a power back right now, not an elusive back.

* Pump Fake was nerfed, but not into oblivion. It's merely made it so that the secondary has a chance to recover after biting on the pump fake which is fair to me. Besides, part of the "fix" was to make vision, super vision, speed and agility all play a more important role for the secondary. So much for super vision getting nerfed.

As for having a clue, the only thing I've seen you do on this forum is rant, rave and cuss. You really haven't shown that you have any grasp on how a PvP environment works. You expect to keep doing the same thing over and over and over and expect it to continue to work. Guess what? Your opponents will adapt and you have to adapt as well.

This is only Season 5.

What happens in Season 10, when everyone has points into everything.

Will nothing work then?

That sounds like fun.

That's just it, everyone can't have points in everything. You are acting like there are an infinite number of skill points. There aren't. Once we hit level 28, it's 5 levels a season. 25 skill points to use. If an elusive back puts those 25 into agility and fakes while the power back puts them into str and power thru, WTF is my LBer supposed to do? If I split the difference I'm slower than the elusive back and weaker than the power back. I have to pick a specialty and go for it.

It's the same for everyone else. The specialists will win the day and the generalist will get left in the dust.

We're just going to have to agree to disagree..

Because things have gone downhill for 2 seasons, if you don't agree, then that's fine.

I don't feel like arguing about this shit anymore.

It's funny, I feel like my players (offensively and defensively) are playing better than ever.

Which players of yours, are playing great?

The Linebacker with 7 Tackles and 1 PD - in 2 games?

The FS with 4 tackles and 3 PD - in 2 games? (no career INTS)

Or your WR - who had 2 TDs last game, but it was a game in which you won 288-0.
He does have 5 catches this year, maybe that is great?
Well, he did have 1 catch in Week 1 for a TD.. But I'm not sure if that's great either.

Now I'm curious. Maybe you have some players that I can't see on your page, because you can't be talking about those guys.

Speed is fine, if anything they need to increase agility's effect on acceleration. The WRs on my team who are 5-15 points behind me in speed and up by 30-40 agility on me still can't out accelerate me.
