Hello,

I’m panfan32 the owner of the Gotham Crusaders. My team was sadly regulated this past off season for USA A #4. We fought our asses off to prevent this but after a gutting of the team in mid season 2; we were not able to keep up with the rest of the league. We decides that is was to hard to recurit players that want to be a part of something great as building a winning tradition so we took honest good level headed agents and tried to give them a home. In return they have (for the most part) stuck with myself and my GM's through 2 long season of 4 wins and 28 loses.

I really thing that the admins should drop all teams at least 1 league when the owner leaves, becuase they all seem to sell their players off and leave the next owner a gaggle F**K.

I and the rest of my team would like to wish everyone within the BBB #8 good luck this season. I hope to build some good friendships here.

BBB8 "the ocho" is a class league.....we fight, talk smack on so on....but we wouldnt want it any other way

we took a small hit in competetive teams...but still its a knock em out drag em out league

We over here at Philly feel your pain, we too started in A#4 in season 2 and relegated before you guys, there is a chance to get your second wind here in the ocho, we look forward to locking horns with you guys!

Welcome, though I have a feeling based on the polling that this might be the last season BBB #8 exists in its current form because of the exact problems you describe. This is by far the most lopsided 2 weeks I have seen in the East, out of 16 games played in that conference only 2 have been very close. Putting gutted and rebuilding teams up against teams that have stayed together since the start of season 2 is hardly fair.

so were all like the USA A4 rejects! lol You guys got us in our rebuilding 1-15 season in Season 3 in the A4, hopefully we can turn the score around this season! haha

I remember you guys... You have a solid team. how come you're still doown in BBB league? I shouldn't just point you guys out though cuz there are lots of really decent teams here with players that seem to have solid builds too.

We're definitely coming into this grounded with our humility in check this isn't some easy cake walk division.

BBB 8 has put up some really good teams, advancing out of it has been harder than you might think. BBB #8 alumni have won the A #4 league twice and the AA #2 championship once (The Wangs have won their league championship every season they have existed and The Pittsburgh Steel won A #4 last season).

Here are the regular season records of BBB #8 teams after being promoted out:

Northwest Arkansas Naturals 2-0
Toronto Turtles 2-0
Tampa Bay Greyhounds 14-4
Pittsburgh Steel 15-3
New York Grizzlies 25-9
Honolulu Hurricane Warriors 30-4

Combined 88-20 and 1 of those losses was when Pitt beat the Grizzlies. The worst season any of them have had so far was when the Grizzlies went 10-6 in season 3. Don't let the lack of an A in front of the league number fool you, we've had our fair share of top-notch teams. Just because the teams here haven't been able to advance doesn't mean some aren't pretty good.

This is only our second season here and we finished 7-9, but we look to finish better than that this season and make the playoffs!

Trust me RSB014 nobody on the Crusaders is taking anything here too lightly. I was just remembering the Devil Dogs when they were in our old league. We came close to be relegated that season ourselves. Also, as you've pointed out, some of the promoted teams from this league have given many teams in USA#4 an eye opener when it comes to competitiveness.

Yes he's right as far as staying grounded. I keep telling the team that just because we have won our first two games, does not mean we will win the rest of them. Our next game will be a solid challenge for us on both sides of the ball.
