Thought I'd make up some Power Rankings... These forums have been dead as hell.

Title Contenders

1. Anchorage Maulers- Look poised to take home the title. Barring a big slip up, They should win in the western conference. If the Maulers can emerge flawless out of a 4 game stretch that includes Chicago, Tallahassee, and Fresno, there doesn't appear to be anyone else that can stop them.
2. Tallahassee Teabaggers- Pull out a good victory (By far the best thus far in BBB 13) and look to play Anchorage in on Week 4. Should make for one of the best games of the year. My pick? Maulers by 10.
3. Fresno Jaguars- Lost a tight game to Tallahassee, but the game could have gone either way. Strong team with good depth and fantastic chemistry.

On the brink....

4. Chicago Thunder- Massive overhaul this off season juts my team up from 13th last season to a 4th place ranking. Still a bit off from the top three teams, as chemistry gets better one this team might be able to pull off an upset. Played 2 scrub teams
5. Las Vegas Legends- Very solid team, rebounding after a tough Season 4. Some stars of defense. With Rex Vick still throwing almost 50 times a game, they will try and pass their pass to a couple upsets. Plays Chicago for what will likely determine a home field playoff spot for these teams next week.

Bottom Playoff Contenders....

6. RGB Berzerk- Good team, with solid starters. Need a starting QB. Defense should keep all of their games close.
7. San Diego Blaze- Solid team, with two solid wins, although giving up 21 point to Philadelphia has to be concerning.

Competing for a Playoff Spot...
8. Roswell Space Pirates- SUPER important game against So. Cal this week if they want to cement themselves as playoff contenders. Should win comforatably, could upset someone higher on this list.
9. So.Cal Beach Bums- Could sneak into the playoffs after a critical win against Houston.
10. Houston Space Cowboys- Early season loss to So. Cal could mean that Houston will be sitting at home come playoff times. Chemistry will be a big issue this year.
11. Port Moresby Trucks- Good Offense might carry them to a playoff birth, but its a long shot. They have no defense to speak of.
12. Philadelphia Demonik- Played two games close. Will give up a lot of points through the air.

Looking for a clue….

13. Springville Renagades- Given the nod here for not having any CPU players, Not sure if they will be able to keep up with any team in BBB13. Played Port Moresby very close.
14. Phoenix Resurrection- How the mighty have fallin. A gutted CPU team might not win a game this year.
15. Scranton Soaring Midgets- Very few quality starters here. Giving up 136.5 points a game.
16. RAVING MAD DAWGS- Another gutted team, might be better from Phoenix, but who cares?

Should be a good game between Chicago and Las Vegas this week.

I'll open the line at Chicago -8, what side would you all bet on?

Probably Chicago in a high scoring one, Casado burns your lousy safeties all day long only held in check moderately by your CB1, but favour you slightly for your level advantage and solid run game. Your a WR or two short on offence but you should score well enough, LV coverage is weak in a number of places and will let up points. Chicago by a TD.

Just scouting Fresno and Tallahassee now as they had to face each other first, interesting game to watch so far, some interesting things to exploit. Been a good day so far as i've also finally found the broken setting in our AI that was leaving the TE open on single back plays, may actually get some progress finally.

EDIT 1: Speaking of Tallahassee, wasn't there something special Hate was supposed to be telling us about at the start of this season, disappointed that he's let us down on that front.

EDIT 2: Looking at Fresno and Tallahassee, it's kind scary how alike the two teams are, both have the same strengths and weaknesses, and realistically if a team was looking to build for success in this league they could focus on building against the weaknesses and gain an advantage on two of the top 3 teams in the west at the same time.

Thanks for doing the rankings. Nice to see that not everyone has given up on the league. It may take us a while, but I think we'll surprise some teams.

Anyone want to swap schedules?

Berzerk:

09/27/2008 Las Vegas Legends Matchup
09/29/2008 at Fresno Jaguars Matchup
10/01/2008 Tallahassee Teabaggers Matchup
10/03/2008 at Anchorage Maulers Matchup
10/05/2008 Chicago Thunder Matchup

It is a shame all the competetive games are so close together and we finish the season with cupcake opponents.

You never reminded me TtD! All I was going to say was we used the same tactics from game 1 to game 16 last year including all of the playoffs except for that game against Tucson. Looking back.....we shouldn't have switched lol.

Was a tough loss for us, but So Cal is a very competative team. Not too much I can do about the chemistry issue with all the changes I've had to make, but hopefully those changes will set us up for future success.

HATEMOBSTER , hell of a game with the teabaggers. Congrats!!

Sry to say, flyinillini is not here to give team congrats from the Fresno game. So I am stepping up to the plate.

(illini is off to work over the "pond".. he will be absent a bit and not have the net access as normal)

Glad to see the Blaze are considered cupcakes now. Is there a certain topping you'd like or maybe some chocolate chips mixed in? Look forward to that matchup.

We don't have a prayer against y'all. We're thinking about playing our offensive players on defense and visa versa, just so we have an excuse to why we lost so bad to the Baggers.

idk man, Fresno has an underleveled team too and they kept it close. It's more about tactics then you guys think.
