1. Birmingham Beavers- The Beavers came out and beat the 12th ranked team. Big deal right? However, the Beavers still look like the strongest team in the West and a test tomorrow maybe against the (soon to be gutted) Rahls. If they lose to this CPU team they may drop down a bit. For now the Beavers will remain at number 1.
Previous Rank:1
2. Fort Richardson Redskins- They dominated the Breakers who were originally ranked number 6. Fort Richardson looks to be well on there way to be a premier team. Next stop is the Tomahawks. Looks to be an easy win. It won't be until week 5 that you will most likely see a close game with these guys.
Previous Rank:3
3. Amarillo Isotopes- The Aces are a stronge team and Isotopes show why they are still among the elite. Beating the Aces by more then double is pretty good. The only reason you see the 'topes moving down is not because of there performance because they did great it was because of the Redskins win over the Breakers.
Previous Rank:2
4. Raleigh Fighting Tigers- Tigers took out the Army and did it in convincing fashion. With the Wedgies up next it will most likely take one of these teams out of the top 5. A win will be great but a loss may set them back a bit.
Previous Rank:5
5. Atomic Wedgies-Not going to lie here. I don't think they can get out of this 4 game stretch without two losses. This is a call out to the Wedgies though... Prove me wrong.
Previous Rank:9
6. Java Monkeys- Monkeys beat Arrowhead. They have the Gunslingers and then the Lowriders. Both should be easy wins. Most likely with some top teams playing each other the Monkeys can squease up to the top 5. My only worry is they might end up going 1-4 after there cup cake teams. Enjoy the wins now guys because it isn't getting easier.
Previous Rank:7
7. Las Vegas Aces- First team to actually be here with a 0-1 record. Aces are a tough team and I beileve they will keep there ground and really show they deserve to be a called a top team in the West. The Season is early and I would be glad to get the Isotopes out of the way early.
Previous Rank:4
8. Miami Breakers- It drops off quite a bit right here. The Breakers are still a young team that needs to develop but with the Gunslingers and Rahls now being disbanded they may just sneak into a Playoff spot.
Previous Rank:6
9. Ditka's Army- The Army did not do so hot this last week. The Isotopes and Aces will take no mercy on this team either and could send them packing down the line. However, don't count this team out. They can be that team that starts off slow but keeps in there until the end.
Previous Rank:8
10. San Antonio Rahls- The Rahls are now officailly CPU and will be gutted here in no time. Maybe they can pull off a win against the Beavers before they leave though and mess up the league before they become another cupcake in the west.
Previous Rank:10
11. San Antonio Gunslingers- Expected to win against Flathead however, there next couple games may be pretty difficult. The team still has a bunch of CPU's still but look to be coming along slowly.
Previous Rank:11
12. Austin Extreme - First thought. Is this team all family? Like crazy hillbilly cousins from Austin? Next though. hmm... look a bit inactive to me...
Previous Rank:12
13. Death Valley Vikings- Too bad they had to face the Rahls when they were still together. anyway if they keep it close I can see they will most likely make it to the top 12 WOO HOO!.
Previous Rank:13
14. Flathead Just Go Krazy- Lost to the Gunslingers what can I say? Atleast they get a bye this week.
Previous Rank:14
15. Arrowhead Tomahawks- Well they didn't lose by more then 80 right?
Previous Rank:15
16. St. Louis Lowriders- no comment
