I have a heavily speed oriented DE (70s speed, 50s aglity, 30s strength) so figured Evasive would be the logical pass rush style. However, as you can see from last season's game log, his performance severely dropped off at that point. So I was wondering what some of you other speed rushers use. I didn't see any other discussion on this, but if there is, I apologize.

I've never even tried anything but evasive and don't really plan on it based on what others that have said.

You can switch to bull rush, but with str like that it won't do you any good.

Well I was thinking about trying Combo, considering that is what he would have done before the choice was implemented. I am just trying to figure how an explanation for his sudden drop in performance.

Combo would make you bull rush sometimes and use evasive sometimes. Once again, not good for your build.

Could be either the DT next to you started using a different setting or you just played harder competition.

does the agility make you a better rusher even if you chose bullrush?

I got my two lonely sacks this season on combo with a str of 54. I like to think that combo gives you a chance to mix up your pass rush so the OT can't predict what you are going to do. Must be he was expecting an evasive rush and I surprised him with my measly str
