Any thoughts on this? I'm a AGI DE right now, with STR/SPD about even. I've been in a 4-3, and am now in a 3-4 defense. Should I get STR up? Any more pointers from a DE in a 3-4?

Not everyone has the benefit of being completely sick in the sack department.
So let me rephrase what I said, the 3-4 will turn all d-linemen into NTs as far as stats go unless you have an extremely top line build.

I ran a 3-4 last game. 6 Tkl, 3 Hry, 2 Sack, 1 FFum. Lvl 27 LOT. Do NT get stats like that?

One sack came on a 2 LB blitz which took the blocker off you and another came against the level 17 backup. The FF came from a lvl 22 back.

3-4 is garbage honestly.
Nothing compared to how it worked in reality (NFL).
Unless you have two VERY dominant DE's (for example Lawrence Jackson and Minister of Defense in the USA PRO league), you won't do a damn thing. Another flaw that goes to the offensive linesmen flagrantly holding and overly dominant ways.

They definitely do not turn into NTs, but the point of the message is true - you wouldn't probably do good in a 3-4 defense if you have a hardcore speed rushing build and would need a little bit more strength then a 4-3 DE because you'll face some double teams every now and then.

I've never played in a 3-4 with my DE, but a rather large amount of his sacks come when the defense is set with only 3 d lineman. It seems like the DT battling the LG takes up space and the LG always blocks down on the NT in 3 lineman sets. Is this what happens in 3-4 too?

I would just like to add that I'm in a 3-4 with my DE and I'm doing better (Pass Rushing wise) than the 4-3. I got 13 sacks last game. I would like to say that AnTiNiNjA is a liar and i own at the 3-4.
