Will be doing this throughout the weekend so expect lots of little edits to the opening post. Depending on how much time I have to waste I may do a comment for every team, if not i'll do a couple of comments and a possible ranking.

East

With the Kangaroos up there really is no-one who can stand in the way of Savannah this season, the Badasses and Hounds will remain strong but are a clear step behind the former Rivermen, and face an upcoming challenge from ATK, Holly and San Vascarba. At the bottom, the usual suspects will be joined by the Dragons, who pose no threat and will likely be in for a massacre at the first New Hampshire derby.

Likely Winner-Savannah
Improving-San Vascarba/Holly

West

A devastated West will be a different matter this season, Tucson go up, Raving, Phoenix and Dallas die off. It'll be a battle of power (Anchorage/Tallahassee) vs tactical gameplanning (Fresno/San Diego) to decide the title this year but with boosting time no longer an issue from lvl29 upwards, expect the high level teams to be more dominant this time around and a final head to head battle between the Teabaggers and the Maulers. Lot will depend on Anchorage tracking down the few replacements they still need as Tallahassee appear to have their squad pretty much together.

Likely Winner-Anchorage
Improving-Chicago Thunder

EDIT NOTE: I had a full post done and then had my connection go down last night, so you'll have to make do with mini-review.

hopefully some team has a breakout season (Chicago, RGB, Roswell) or this season will be pretty lame, with only the Anchorage and Fresno games to look forward to.

I'm just stuck with no money, otherwise we'd have our full roster back right now :/

Ahh well, looks like more rebuilding for Phoenix this year.

It's more of a fact that there's about 3 teams heading past you the wrong way, and your the least bad of the rest . Nah! All kidding aside your the one team making drastic changes this offseason and it's good seeing someone making the commitment to the game.

i think we added 8 players this offseason, trimmed a lot of fat if you know what i mean.

We went through and cut the inactives, poor builds, and non-boosting players, leaving us with a solid base.

Season decided by week 4 then . And glad I don't have San Diego's mid-season schedule, nasty run there.

I don't think that going out and hiring new high level players is the only way to show committment to the game.

I think finding good committed agents and working towards strong builds with excellent depth is another way to approach it.

Adding a 30 WR, a 30 G, 2 28+ CBs, a 27 C, and a 28 DE are also good way to build a team.

I agree, to build a team that will win right now, that is a good way to do it.

I was refering to the comment about "commitment to the game" which does not necessarily require that you go out and sign the highest level players available.

1. You didn't resign anyone at the end of last year when I turned the team over to you.

2. I built you a nice big stadium to get plenty of revenue for you.

3. You have 9 million dollars in the bank.

Money isn't the problem...
