After being handed his walking papers without warning Pritchett went back to the Mice locker room to gather his equipment. As he walked down the halls he ripped down all the posters and and papers telling of his great season for the Mice. He went to the locker room and sat a while holding his helmet. "I just don't really understand how someone can work so hard to make a team the best, yet be stabbed in the back and replaced by someone that I fill is a lesser talent." Enranged Chris got up and threw the helmet across the locker room. He stood up turned around and grabbed that beat up jersey he had sported honorably throught the entire season. Chris took the jersey and put it with him, "My reason for taking the jersey was I didn't fill that D'Adrian was worthy of my number." He walked out with his jersey and as he left the locker room news spread like wild fire of his release, it shocked everyone that heard the news. Later Pritchett vowed, "They know what i'm capable of, yet they don't know any of my flaws. I'm going to be a nightmare and the only advice I can give them is watch out because the Mice have a target on their forehead and I aim to pull the triger and break down what I helped build."

Chris went to the F/A office today and posted about looking for a new team. "I vowed to come back and tear appart the team I made so great and that's what i'm going to do." In his request he asked for all contracts from USA BBB#1 teams that play the Mice. "I got a couple teams that are trying to sign me, it makes me laugh to think that the Mice honestly thought they could just throw me out and not have to worry about me again."

"O and FYI for those who didn't know I didn't boost until the end of season and i'm boosting this upcoming season, so think about it, I was beating your backs without even boosting "

Update on Chris Pritchett:

"I've had several offers from last season opponets, even some from teams in higher leagues in Amercia. I guess I could move up but I think i'm going to stick around, I mean why not? The least I can do is stick around and get my pay back."

The offer box is starting to fill up he stated earlier this afternoon, he's trying to figure out which one he wants to sign on the dotted line.

Maybe it's me but does anyone really give a fuck? If they don't want you, sign with with someone who does, here or in higher league! Why all the drama? At least make sure you spell the shit right when writing a book!:/

Fill that was mean

As a representative of the Mice posting in this thread, I feel compelled to clarify a few things:

(1)We respect the contribution that Pritchett made to South Otto last season. Parting ways with a well-built player is never easy for any organization. This decision was a tough one for us. I don't blame Equinox for being upset. Anyone would be after being let go. However, I am greatly disappointed at his choice of words.

(2) I take great exception to Equinox's condescending tone towards our new HB D'Adrian. As many of you know, D'Adrian's agent is ScullyDawg who was a GM/coordinator for the LA Reign, and a frequent contributor to the BBB forums. Our management team first took notice of him when he, then a member of the Reign, stood up for the Mice in the BBB forum when others were looking down on us. It was pure class. When you have an chance to sign someone with Scully's knowledge, game experience, and high character...you take it. We felt that the addition of D'Adrian/Scully would have a greater impact to our team than simply having someone with nice stats. As a sidenote, D'Adrian's 1942 rushing yards 6.4 yd per rush average and 59 TDs last season wasn't bad either.

3) Our management strongly believes in doing what's in the long-term best interest of the Porcelain Mice. No one player, however talented, will ever come before the team. We hold no ill-will towards Equinox/Pritchett and wish him the best where ever he chooses to play.

I kinda thought it was tongue in cheek. Esp considering he did it RP.

Possibly, but I don't think so. Refer to Pritchett's free agent ad in the Marketplace. Nothing tongue and cheek about that.

My only statement to this is that I have bee playing on this game since season 1 and remember saying I would help with scouting, but that's neither here nor there.

He's ok with it. Obviously, that was something that was discussed BEFORE he signed.

Our team works as a unit. It's not about individual accolades, though I'm sure there will be plenty of those.

Not excited about it, but willing to do what it takes to put the team over the top and to win that championship that has alluded me since season 1. grrrrrr


Also this thread was posted out of anger and frustration seeing how I didn't really understand any of what they told me. I apologize, just i've been screwed over several times last season. No harsh feelings towards the Mice just anger and all statements made are withdrawn, they are a stand up team and one the way their GM's/Owners handled business should be used as an example of how to truely run a team. It seems it's the way the want to go with the team so good luck to the Mice and the new HB. Hope to have a great game this season, see you on the field.

Seriously man, no harm done. I hate that things ended on a sour note, but I'm sure I speak for all the Mice when I wish you the best of luck this season, except when playing South Otto. Should be a really fun season.
